I really don't know what to make out of the criteria for this list so Im not gonna fuss over the names or the order, except to say I'd take Barkley ove Malone peak for peak as a scorer. Which is not to say Barkley should be slotted into the 10th spot, but for me hes ahead of Malone however this is being measured. And, I was acutely tuned into the NBA in 94 and 95. I saw Hakeem's run and yeah....I feel like he warrants a mention here.
Remove both [B]Jokic[/B] and [B]Shaq[/B] from this list.
If this is about [B]scoring skill-set[/B], neither ranked in that regard. Both used their weight to knock their defender out of the way and get an open look. That is not skill.
If you look strictly based on performance, and not skill-set, they can be included.

It's based on both.
Jokic is one of the best shooters of all time and one of the best post players of all time. He is elite everywhere, basically a bigger version of Larry Bird...so of course Jokic is on here.
Jokic is at like 28ppg on 61 TS% for his playoff career, which is almost 100 games deep.
Kobe is too high
At the end of the day efficiency matters and guys like Curry & LeBron match Kobe in terms of scoring volume at way higher efficiency
Jordan spent half of his career being defended by your local car mechanic, he's not number one but this forum is full of nostalgia old heads who think MJ would average 50 today so I'm not even going to bother :facepalm

People think Hakeem's '94 and '95 seasons were all that he had to his prime. The reality is that from 1986-95, Hakeem put up 29 PPG on 53% FG% in the playoffs. If we're talking about skill and scoring, then he has to be up there.

Well I certainly know there was more to his prime than those two seasons, but I specified 94 and 95 mainly because of the gauntlet of talent he faced enroute to winning those titles and the numbers he dropped. He basically went through the 2nd, 3rd and 4th best players at his own position during that run.
