That right there is exactly why anyone that thinks KD was more valuable to those teams, a better player, or any other word-gymnastics they want to pull out of their ass, is a retard

Re: Curry winning a chip before KD is a terrible narrative
You'd have a leg to stand on ever so slightly if 2022 never happened, but it did.
I dont think even Jokic or Lebron would win with Andrew Wiggins at 2nd option. KD certainly wouldn't have.
Full Court is a mentally deranged piece of shit who gets humped by homosexuals daily
If only he has some rings without klay thompson, people would respect him more as a player. :ohwell:

Re: Curry winning a chip before KD is a terrible narrative
I love how everyone is IMMEDIATELY PIVOTING to 2022...as if that has anything to do with my thread.
My thread is about the narrative that Curry won before Durant being a crap narrative that doesn't apply any context.
I guess deep down everyone agrees with me since everyone is like YEAH BUT WHAT ABOUT 2022???

Curry beat KD in the playoffs prior to KD joining them. Did you forget about that?
Curry won before AND after Durant so it's very likely he would have won at least another ring if Durant never joined them when their big 3 was in their primes.

Again, what happened in 2016 or any time after is NOT RELEVANT.
I'm simply saying that this narrative of Curry winning before Durant is a little dumb considering Durant would've won in 2012 if Bosh/Wade didn't play...
Do you really think OKC loses if Bosh/Wade don't play?
Re: Curry winning a chip before KD is a terrible narrative
Now you guys know why I got OP on my ignore list :lol

The problem with this is the majority of the board is retarded and you might as well not visit if you start putting people on ignore for being retarded, which OP clearly is.
He is right the Warriors only won in 2015 due to injuries. But they also only lost 2016 due to LeBron baiting Draymond. So eh.

Does KD win in 2012 if Wade/Bosh don't play due to injury? Simple yes or no question.

Lebron was scoring 25 ppg on poor percentages in games 1-4 of the Finals. He only started dropping bombs once JR Smith took out Andrew Bogut in game 5. Andre Iguodala’s back was messed up too and he could barely get up and down the court. 2016 was Curry’s peak. He was unreal that year. He tore his MCL in the playoffs and was gimped. 2015 Cavs got a bad break and 2016 Warriors got a bad break.

No.
GayD would find a way to f.uck it up and then go cry to his momma lol
Re: Curry winning a chip before KD is a terrible narrative
OP's also acting like it's 100% guaranteed the Cavs win if they're fully healthy in 2015, when while I'd assume most would say it's likely, it's not a certainty. The facts are they literally lost the only game Kyrie played in that series, then the Cavs had to squeak out a 7 game series the following year with Curry having the worst series of his career. I will agree the Cavs likely win if healthy in 2015, but it's not the guarantee OP is making it out to be.
The greatest irony of all this is, even if KD never joins the Warriors, and neither won a title in the 2010's, Curry would've STILL won a title before KD by winning in 2022 anyway :lol

The problem is that the narrative in your OP doesn't actually exist. The actual narrative that exists is that Curry won before and after KD. You are just trying to revise history to make apologies for KD.
KD had the chance to beat Curry in the playoffs but he didn't. He could have stayed in OKC to try again but he decided to take the easy road and join Curry.

Obviously, my point is that what I'm saying actually applies context, and the existing narrative doesn't have any context and is wrong.
So your bolded is not a valid response to my thread.
And then again, yet AGAIN, you go PAST 2015 to the 2016 year with Kd vs Curry. There is no point is going to 2016 because the narrative I am talking about is related to 2015 and before...
