I agree.
He's a 3.
In Europe he can be an outstanding 4 - but not in the NBA.
He can play in the low post, but I believe that's not what they picked him for...
Better to leave him as a SF.
My Starting line up for the 2008-2009 New York Knicks is
PG- Marbury
Sg- Crawford
Sf- Chandler
Pf- Zach
C - Eddy
Off the bench
6- PG-Nate or Duhon
7- Sg-Roberson or Collins
8- Sf-Gallinri or Richarson
9- Pf-Lee or Jeffries
10- C-james or Rose
Let go jones as a free agent.
This is my starting line up if everyone stay still
Good luck!
after dumping one of my 2 favorite Knicks (my remaining fav is nate) Im at a loss. I stuck with clueless Zeke so long last year, I started to smell like bad fish, I finally dumped Zeke afer watching him shaft the energy guys all year. I had reasoned that Zeke afforded my favs (Balk, Nate, Lee, Chand) some protection. And I was right. But dumb dumb Zeke had to go. I just wished we had hired a video-room rat insted of a shmoozer who makes conclusions based on talking heads consensus. The new media policy, Donnie gives them tips...and for their scoops they keep it positive. They even get to share there unimaginative ideas with Donnie. We've all heard their popular sound-bite: "no shot, no skills, we dont need Ro and Chand."...well Im sorry the story is more complicated than that. Im on another board where some mediot is telling us "only the fans didnt want to dump balk". Well wtf are we....clueless??
I will give a crack at this. I think Walsh and D'Antoni left the Knicks short handed this year.
PG- Marbury
Sg- Crawford
Sf- Richardson
Pf- Zach
C - Eddy
Off the bench
PG - Duhon, Nate, Collins
SG - Roberson/Nate Collins
SF - Chandler, Gallinari
PF - Lee, Jeffries, Rose
C - James, Randolph, Rose
Marbury is the catch 22 in the rotation at PG and SG.
The Knicks are really really weak at PF and C.
The Knicks are about three years away from the playoffs. Maybe more.

Bro I can see that... but we have many guys contracts coming off the books after this year so it may not be that long!

I hope so. Alot of dead weight on this team's bench right now.:banghead:
Jamal Crawford
Wilson Chandler
Danilo Gallinari
Zach Randolph
Eddy Curry
Duhon and Lee off the bench
that's my favorite lineup
no way, thats too big and slow of a lineup for D'Antoni.
there are no locks of starters now really, except I'm pretty sure Crawford and Curry are safe. And I think we will be seeing a decent amount of pt for Richardson who had one of his best season under D'Antoni in Phoenix.
Any chance Randolph won't be a Knick this upcoming season?
Marbury played for D'Antoni before... but Marbury is still a headcase.
PG: Chris Duhon
SG: Jamal Crawford
SF: Wilson Chandler
PF: David Lee
C: Eddie Curry
thats not that bad hopefully Randolph and or Curry are gone by the start of the season
Wilson Chandler gives me alot to look forward to this upcoming season this dudes gonna be a beast!!
Well i hope so cuz that roster ur suggesting would get blown out every night. Duhon as a starter off top is asking to get annihilated then you got Randolph on the bench with his ego....he'd be hoisting up even more shots than b4 when he got in the game.Bottom line is we need trades. No matter how much we mix and match we just have poor fitting personnel. It's like a crossword puzzle and we tryna figure it out every single day but what we fail to realize is that every single possibility is all wrong.
