If someone told you their favorite movie was "____________" you'd know you hate them

These are all films about serial killers, or are mainly about serial killers. Every single one of these movies could be someone's favorite, and a lot of them are. So, now we're back to you thinking that NBK is gory and disturbing, when in fact It's really not as bad as you think. American Pyscho is a good mention...I have never heard anyone claim that is their favorite movie, but I couls see it as a possibility, and I would probably not get along with that type of person...

I couldn't tell anything from the title. If you scroll down, it tells you the language and origin of the movie. That's how I saw it was Japanese.

I couldn't even tell it was an asian movie with the title: Lolita vib-zeme or whatever. Sounds more european to me, only when I saw the director's name could I tell it was japanese.

Do movie titles like: "Old boy" "In the mood for love" or "Chocolate" tell you they're asian?

Ok. Just letting you know if you are going to use a movie to show something, at least make sure it's well known. That has nothing to do with being cultured but has everything to do with using common sense.

I think what Hawker is trying to say is that no one will understand the reference to a movie of that sort, no matter how disturbing, because of it obscurity.

Sports movies are good and entertaining but I wouldn't put them near #1 favorite.

Superbad, Napoleon Dynamite, The 40 Year Old Virgin, Old School, Anchorman, Talladega Nights, Juno, Dumb and Dumber, and Pineapple Express are all films that if named a person's favorite would mean that we more than likely could not be friends. Fans of quirky loser comedies are the scum of the Earth.

If I judged people based solely on their movie interests, I wouldn't have many friends. I like a lot of foreign and indie movies, but sometimes people who share that same interest with me are too arrogant for me. (not saying I'm not, but in this case I don't mind being a little hypocritical) As long as the other person is open minded to the movies I like I'm ok with it.
