MJ was the best
Michael Jordan.
i got to go with kobe bryant even tho i like mj more
How can you pick Kobe here, anyways?
He pretty much modeled it after MJ.
I don't consider either one fundamentally sound. But if I had to pick one to model my jumper after, it'd probably Kobe since it would work for me. Kobe modeled his after MJ, but he had to tweak it because his hands are small and he can't get nearly as much lift on his jumper.
Kobe almost takes set-shots. He doesn't get a lot of lift on his jumpers.
Come on now, really? Most of his jumpers come off of pullups or fadeaways where he has to shoot over some one. Don't see how he could do that without getting lift.

Looks like set shot to me.:oldlol:
The way you talk about Kobe, I'd be surprised if he could score 15 points a game.

Look at his younger days when he'd take threes. He'd put his right foot up and almost not jump when he takes his shot. Maybe he just doesn't leave the floor as fast cause of his lack of explosion.

Why would you need to jump high on threes? I don't know of many players if any at all who jump high on long-range shots. It's almost all upper body from out there.

T-Mac, VC, Ray Allen, just to name a few.

I'm not seeing it in that video. You have a point with Ray.
That and because Jordan gets much more lift on his shots. Kobe almost takes set-shots. He doesn't get a lot of lift on his jumpers.
Bird is the example of taking set-shots,i think Kobe get a lot of lift on his jumpers.

Jordan hands are hugecompare to Kobe:eek:
Jordan or Kobe?? Oh lord. Prettiest jumpshot form I would take neither but between the two I will say Jordan.
MJ
If you saw Kobe in the beginning of his pro career , I saw lots and lots of air balls. = (Which means an undeveloped shot)

Kobe was 17 or 18

Shouldn't take shots you can't make. You didn't see rookie Shaq chucking threes did you?

hahahah good point :D
kobe has the prettier jumpshot form. this of course, doesn't factor his abilities
edit: maybe the basketball got bigger :D
T-Mac, VC, Ray Allen, just to name a few.
Yea VC barely jumps at all on his shots. He uses mostly all upper body and its a lot prettier than Kobe's or MJ's.

Repped.:oldlol:

look how relaxed MJ's entire body seems whereas
Kobe's is all tensed up or tightened up.
Although it seems a bit odd to judge by one photo of them shooting.
Point is:
I would love to shoot all relaxed so I take MJ.
Shouldn't take shots you can't make. You didn't see rookie Shaq chucking threes did you?
at least he had the balls to take those shots :lol
with a chuck full of veterans on that squad. I'd go with kobe's jump shot.
Jordan in the beginning of his career had a quite non-inspiring shooting form.
But towards the end of his career I think it was prettier than Kobe's current form is.

He jumps but he is more fade-away on his shots, that's why it doesn't seem like it got enough height on his shots.

Actually, Kobe and MJ shot is totally different. MJ shot is the more common type of stroke u see in the NBA. Kobe shot looks different especially when he strokes it.
i'd take mike's he got a lot more lift but i likethe way kobe's form looks

Trick question. Kobe copied Jordan's form, so they are equally pretty.

As you can see Jordan would normally lean a bit forward on his hots and keep his legs together. Kobe leans a bit back and throws his left legs forward.
Its pretty similar...
But i wouldnt call them pretty, if you want a pretty jumpshot watch somebody like Ray Allen, Glen Rice, Dale Ellis, Dell Curry...
