Are you serious? The Rockets have so much talent and their shedule has been the 2nd easiest. Oh wait I got that backwards...
Ariza has been fantastic for Houston this season. And he shoots .392%.
Agreed. 17.7 ppg, 5.4 rpg, 3.5 apg, 2.2 apg, 2.6 TO is great for a player who has made the transition from being a peripheral role player to the go-to guy.
39.2% FG, 34.5% 3P FG, 67.6% is pretty bad. There is a lot of room for improvement, but he has proved that he can be a legit 2nd/3rd option scorer someday in the future.
lmao at C.Bosh for running over there..Jack the toughest one in that whole team behind Hedo...C.Bosh wasn't going to do Sh!T the lead PU$$Y.
dshsaadshahahahahahaha.. the lead pu$$y, that's a good one.. put bargnani and nesterovic behind him..
And that's why Houston needs T-Mac. He can create for Ariza, Brooks, and Battier instead of them trying to create themselves.
I'm all for physical play, but an elbow to the back of the head can kill someone. They are not even allowed in Mixed Martial Arts. Even a light strike to the back of the cranium can cause serious damage.
Definately worthy of a suspension.
He gets outplayed and then wants to fight. How mature.

Indeed, there is no place for such dirty play in the game.
what he did was wrong but it's obvious he regreted it right away after. he didn't step up to jack, which was a surprise. when someone gets in your face like that your instinct is to get back in their face. he just lost total composure and let his frustrations get the best outta him.. 5 games..
"I know it wasn't intentional or nothing," DeRozan said. "He was just frustrated, he wasn't hitting any shots, they were down by 20. Just in the heat of the game, it's frustration. It's definitely no problem, he's still my man."
Yeah, thats sad to see. That isnt Ariza at all, he is always usually a good sport and humble and everything.
Also, at people saying hes playing like ****, take away the fg% and he is putting up great numbers, considering the role he has had to step up to take. This is the guy who wanted to come off the bench for the lakers, but said hed start if it was for the good of the team. Its not like he wants to take these shots but adelman wants him to.

people said the same thing when he almost killed Rudy Fernandez last year.

as a lakers fan ive seen my fair share of alot of really dirty trevor ariza fouls last year, but i have nothing against him for it.
Adelman is a fantastic coach.
He's a great coach but Ariza as the first option is a dumbass move.
I think anybody would be frustrated in his position. He is being asked to be a #1 option when he's clearly not.
38% FG, 67% FT, and 2.6 TO for every 3.5 assists. He's also playing nearly 40 minutes per game, so the fact that he's averaging 17ppg, 5rpg, and 3.5ast, means very little when you factor in his efficiency.
If McGrady is truly healthy (and willing to buy into the team chemistry) the Rockets need to bring him back ASAP.
wow clearly intentional, if connected that would have been a vicious hit.
people said the same thing when he almost killed Rudy Fernandez last year.
Oh cmon, that kind of foul happens all the time.. he was clearly swiping for the ball and accidentally hit him in the head in the process, and the fall is what made it look worse than it was.
Anyway, he should definitely be suspended for this.. no question about it.
This is not Ariza at all. He is a really nice and humble kid and would never do this kind of thing as a part of his personality. You have to understand the frustration he is in. The Lakers are pretty much a lock in the NBA finals while he, a role player, is asked to be a number one option on a sub par rockets team. It kinda sucks seeing the team you helped win a championship strive while your in the ****ter. Adelman is a great coach its just that he doesnt have a choise but force ariza as number one option becase T-mac for whatever damn reason is always injured.
How the **** does a 'nice kid' like all of you are trying to say swing an elbow to the back of somebody's head? Why don't you guys line up outside my house and let me elbow you guys in the back of the head one by one. I swear I'm a nice guy and it's not in my personality to do it.
Retards.
Ah.........Trevor Ariza.......I remember him well.........a promising young kid with tons of athleticism...still raw offensively......bright eyed.....bushy tailed.....a young bud ready to blossom........
Then Isiah Thomas traded him and Penny Hardaway for Steve Francis....
Sigh.........Good times......good times..........
that was really gay.
or had huge undertones of homosexuality (political correct version)

I kind of agree to be honest, frustration doesn't make you do shit like that..

Typically the ones who think everything is gay....is actually gay.
Hmmmm triangleoffense...interesting name.....did you know a pink triangle is a symbol that means gay pride or gay rights?
Kinda a gay name if you ask me........ :lol
The Rockets might make to playoffs but they will not do anything when they get there. They are letter Ariza try to create his own shots so he can be a better player when an all stars comes. It is pretty obvious.
Give some of those shots to Landry who is also developing as well. the guy is damn money right now.
Ariza is nothing without Kobe. :sleeping
people said the same thing when he almost killed Rudy Fernandez last year.
That wasnt a dirty foul though, it was clear he was going for the ball, just misjudged, was a little reckless, something that happens when you play hard.
Any "dirty fouls" he may commit are a result of playing with 100% effort, this wasn't the case today, which is what makes me a little ashamed of ariza.
Lets look at Mr Ariza's Shooting Chart
12 pts 3-8 FG
25 pts 9-21 fg
33 pts 11-17 fg
15 pts 6-17 fg
15 pts 5-22 fg
9 pts 3-12 fg
17 pts 9-19 fg
9 pts 2-12 fg
19 pts 8-21 fg
18 pts 6-19 fg
16 pts 7-18 fg
19 pts 7-19 fg
12 pts 8-15 fg
17 pts 6-21 fg
17 pts 7-23 fg
16 pts 7-16 fg
18 pts 8-19 fg
7 pts 2-12 fg
26 pts 11-19 fg
13 pts 5-14 fg
1 pts 0-9 fg
Out of that chart, he has had probaly to good shooting games. in 70% of those games he puts up more shots then he makes. give some of those shoys to landry. Ariza is a roleplayer.
BTW, Adelman is a terrefic coach.
That would have been nasty if it connected.
That would have been nasty if it connected.
It'll be Cruel. he could have Broken Derozan's Jaw if he connected on the face. thats just weak.

Well, who on the Rockets isn't a role player with Tracy & Yao being out?
I do agree though, they are forcing Ariza to take more shots then he should, it just isn't his game.

Carl Landry is know much more then a role player.

No one is stopping Landry from scoring, they pretty much run their offense through him when he plays.

Considering when Ariza is out there with him, it's gonna be another long Ariza brick....
Scola is the rocket's best offensive player, and a post presence. Vs Team USA in the olympics he scored 29 points against double teams, with ginobili hurt.
I don't know why Adelman doesn't run the offense through Luis Scola, and why Scola is a low post beast in FIBA play but in NBA it seems all he's allowed to do is shoot 15 footers. It's not like up and under moves dont work in the NBA.

They are letting Ariza grow with no pressure, they are not winning anything this year. Rockets know he is not a number 1 option but he will be a better role player bc of this when they get an all star.

Carl Landry says hello...

You Cant Put a Square Peg into a Round hole. thats what Trevor is. You cant make a Role Player into a Star. Atleast Carl has the Potential to be that and is far, far, far more effecient.

Trevor is not taking shots away from Landry so I don't see what he has to do with anything. There is nothing wrong with giving him the oppurtunity, the Rockets are not going anywhere. It is not like Trevor gets trigger happy in the final minutes, his spreads his missed throughout the game.

We gotta agree to disagree on this one.
Good thing we got rid of that violent, volatile player and got a low key guy like Artest.
At least 3 games...SH!T was outright obvious and intentional...
