Barbosa is faster than any of them.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z6FV2anEYxE
also, i'm reminded of that one guy who said he had a video of his "friend", the "brazilian beast", who is 18 and faster than iverson, and being actively scouted by nba coaches. Dude posted a video of himself touching the rim and shooting with marcus camby-like mechanics
-
   You sure shut me up.
-
Michael Vick is faster than all of them.
-
...
Jerious Norwood is faster than Vick. I bet young Randy Moss was faster than Vick too.
-
Gobb you're going to downplay that dunk?
That was dunk was absurd... and on Duncan no less.
-
Looks like Duncan was trying to draw the charge more than anything... Posterized none the less.
Lebron = Bad MF
-
wtf
somebody get a youtube link for the dunk..
-
Draw a charge? Unless Tim Duncan is really dumb, I doubt it. He was aware where he was in the paint. Cant draw a charge there, he didnt even fall down to even try to sell a charge. He just tried to bait Bron to a double pump.

I said it was sick. Duncan didnt even jump tho.
Check out Iggy over Darko.
-
Remember Iggy on Jaric last year? Top 2-3 of the year to me with Snyder jumping over that Laker and VC on Zo.
-
Whoever mention vick is off, hes fast but hes not Super fast. He runs a high 4.3 or a low 4.4 Thats world class speed but its not what everyone thinks he runs. NONE of the VT guys run what they say they do. Hell I know a guy who is faster than Vick.
-
Remember the fairly similar Kobe on Dwight Howard dunk how all the KnoeItAwl and Yinka Dare and their clones damn near got carpal tunnel trying to downplay that dunk? Based on their own logic, none of them can hype this one either.
I like those LeBron 4's there. I need to get a pair. Nike hasn't released a posite based shoe in a while
-
i guess they got some material for next years nba league pass comercial. that dunk was sick.

I remember that one. Anyone remember the deshawn stevenson dunk on Gerald wallace? Wallace isnt a big so to some its less impressive but imo it was pretty damn nasty.
-
It's a charge.
Darko on Mourning >>>>>>>>>>>>> all.
-
i think that was waaaay better than the djones dunk, jones is like half of lebrons size, plus not everyone is all over duncan all the time. i jumped out of my seat when i saw that crap. i didnt think he was gonna be able to get there either, but man.
duncan posterization!!!!!!!!
-
hm
the vince carter dunk over duncan when he just jumps over his head, and twists.. is way better
i got it on my NBA dunks dvd

Eh, it looks like he tried to step out of the half circle to draw it. I'm only going off that gif you posted (I assume that's from tonight)... He did fall down though. Albeit not instantaneously, but looks like he fell alright.
Iggy over Darko > Bron over Timmy
I saw that dunk and it was nice but it wasnt even close. Darko didnt get knocked out of bounds.
-
I saw that dunk and it was nice but it wasnt even close. Darko didnt get knocked out of bounds.
not to mention, it was only darko, he's not praised by ESPN and everyone like timmy is.

Notice how this nasty dunk only had ONE thread on ISH. If this was Kobe, instead of LeBron, there would be 3 pages in ISH's forum filled with theads of this dunk. We would hear about it for years; heck, we have heard about Kobe's PRESEASON block on Ray Allen (which was nothing special to begin with) for months. Then Kobe groupies will say, "did you see that dunk!?!?! Kobe's head was at rim level (even if his head was at least a foot away).
My point? When people say, "look at these Bron groupies"...it just doesn't make sense. There are no LeBron groupies. There are no Wade groupies. There are no Nash groupies. There are no Iverson groupies, etc., etc. Every player's fans, GENERALLY, are smart and rational. However, the same can't be said about Kobe fans (aka groupies).

You serious? lol...
Pathetic
I like those LeBron 4's there. I need to get a pair. Nike hasn't released a posite based shoe in a while
I heard they are even heavier than the III. I will get the White/Navy though.
-
Yarrrr....not only do I miss the Spurs game, but I found out they lost AND Timmy got banged on. :(
-
They're foamposite so they're definitely going to be heavy. I weigh damn near 200lbs myself so shoe weight is no big deal to me. What's more important is how smooth they are as far as flexion and heel to toe transition. And 1 Chosen 1's are one of the lightest shoes I ever wore but the heel to toe transition is so clunky and unnatural I damn near trashed them
-
Why would you copp And 1 joints to start with?
-

The 4's are by far and away the lightest Lebron so far. We got them in a work today and they seem pretty decent.
-
Why would you copp And 1 joints to start with?
And 1's are very durable, and I can always get them at a good price. They got some great shoes and new concepts coming out this season too I saw some preview literature for at NT.
-
And 1's always seemed to fall apart on me, when I used to hoop. Although, I make alot of sharp cuts, etc. Nike for some reason have always clicked with my game, and my feet.
-
I use my And 1's for my plyometrics/x training, running on the treadmill, outdoor hooping, and indoor hooping and the traction and overall performance stays the same (though the outsole is finally starting to peel on my Open Run's) and they're all light and have great traction. With my Nike's, just from indoor hooping alone they usually don't last as long.
Either way though, nobody can guard me. Best shoe I ever wore was an Adidas, A3 Superstar Ultras to be exact. Adidas recalled them and I sent both my pairs back to get the check, but I'd kill for a DS pair in a 13. After that the Kobe Mesh Playoff's, then Nike makes an appearance with the Flightposite KG's.
LeBron on Duncan though, nasty. He had one his rookie yr over Duncan with 2 hands tho.
-
Either way though, nobody can guard me.
I beg to differ...
But seriously, I'm a hooper too. What city do you hoop in?
-
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9GYHL9yLaVg
Anyone have a video of it happening live?
-
...
who says "hoop". You guys must not be from the Northeast, Especially New York or NJ
-
Fort Sill, Oklahoma. Jeff was supposed to set up some kind of playoff ISH meetup party/basketball game/barbeque event last season. If he ever does and I got money to get there, I'll show and prove. Here they go though, found the old pic. Shoes were so flamboyant too is also why I loved them. Bright ass red and chrome.

Ive never seen him in person but ive seen a few vids of Datz from DB.com stuff and Im definitely believe he can ball.
-
I'm curious what LeBron's standing reach is. The ball looked so damn high on the ESPN replay, but now that I look at his feet they aren't that high off the ground. I'd say very average for an NBA player, on that particular play, yet he still somehow finished the dunk...

Look how far out he starts. You dont get as high when you go that far laterally. He took off just inside the ft circle.
-
Fred Jones had a nice poster tonight too.
-
Good question Clutch, I know that info is out there somewhere because I remember reading it. Even before he played his first game, he was bigger than the 6'8 240 they like to list him as. I'm finding he has a 7'1 wingspan but nothing on his standing reach. I'm 6'0 though in shoes and mine is about 7'10 and I have long arms as do most players so even if you just assumed he is 9 inches taller than me and gave him that much on reach that would put him at 8'7 but how does the extra height correlate to arm length?
-
The best part of the dunk has to be the commentators' reactions. You know it was a big play when you are able to get the commentators, who've seen a lot of basketball, as excited as they were. For a second there, they sounded like fans just rooting. The layup got the same reaction as well. Lebron really had the ability to get people out of their seats... Hopefully I can get that poster. Poor Duncan, lol.
