Reggie Miller
And my vote for best "catch and get kicked in the face" player goes to Wally Szczerbiak.
Glen Rice was pretty damn good.
All-time I'd say Reggie, though.
Glen was my favourite player in the league behind Jordan back in the 90's. First NBA jersey I ever bought as well.

Hornets jerseys were lush back then.

Old thread and all...But what the hey...
I am biased having watched the Bulls in 90s but Paxson, BJ, and later Steve Kerr were great at their craft.
I respect Peja's ability as well.
Reggie and Ray are obvious picks as their career 3s show but to me it's the above 4 I mentioned.
Me!!
Dale Ellis had the quickest release off a catch and shoot I have ever seen.
Right now it is Ray Allen.
Maybe not the best, but how does Hornacek not get a mention 4 pages in?
Right now it's easily Ray Allen, all time could be a long debate between many players.
Not the best but I just want to mention him:
Brent Barry had one of the shortest times between catching the ball and it being gone. He was accurate, could shoot with pressure, and had a stupid fast release. I guess he created more for himself when he was younger and spot shot when he was older but when they called for it it was cool to see.
Kyle Korver when on Jazz.
I was at a 76ers lakers game back in 2000 and during warmups i must have seen Glenn Rice shoot 40-50 times. He didnt miss once. it was unreal. He would barely look at his shot after his release and get ready to fire again. Seeing that was the 2nd most amazing thing i saw that day. Seeing how big shaq was in person was the most amazing thing i saw that day.
Reggie Miller.
Besides all of the guys mentioned already, another honorable mention : Richard Hamilton.
Iverson deserves a nod as well when Larry Brown used him as SG.

Most pretty good shooters will do that in warm ups. The only problem is now the league is filled with dudes who can't shoot. I've played with guys who were nba bums in the late 80s an early 90s who had great careers overseas and they never miss in warm ups.
