Yeah theres no way there is a correlation between gaining weight from the start of your NBA career and being around personal trainer and working out being a pro athlete. There has to be another factor, like steroids.
you guys don't think its a coincidence LBJ and DW both came into the league skinny and toneless, yet are now the two of the most built players in the league. If Durant doesn't fill out in the same way i am sure it is steroid use.
When did being 240-245 pounds at 18 = skinny? Bron was always big, he trained for football when he was in high school and was one of the highest rated WRs in the state of Ohio before he was drafted. Hell his first season people were even talking about how he was the same size as an NFL tight end then, and that was prior to him adding about 15-20 pounds.
Oh and Wade wasn't skinny either. He was already over 210 pounds when he entered the league. Neither of these players were 1/2 as bony as Durant was when they came into the league, so expected his body to develop the same way theirs did is unrealistic.

If he's lucky he'll bulk up similar to Pippen. He was pretty thin his rookie year.
He probably takes Human Growth Hormone. Its a performance enhancing drug in the same vein as steroids, it makes your head grow huge (Kurt Angle!) but its really hard to test for.
Its called HGH, its hard to argue the expanding jawline
Enough already!!! No matter how much time goes by, same old bigotry remains. This antisemitism has got to stop!!!
Wait....wait a second......oh never mind.......misread the title......my bad
Its called HGH, its hard to argue the expanding jawline
I think he may have taken it to recover after the 08 season in time for the Olympics, but I don't believe he's on it now. He looked noticeably slimmer last year, and honestly, even though 08-09 was his career year stat-wise, he was an even better player last year once he got in shape-- with the one exception that his jumpshot stayed on vacation until spring.
But to me where he's at, last year and now, is his ideal playing weight. Toward the end of last season he was starting to display levels of quickness and athleticism that I hadn't seen from him since before his injury in 07.
I suspected Wade was on HGH before his cheeks even puffed out. I remember watching a game and seeing him spring off one leg and thinking "that looked unnaturally explosive"
sort of the same feeling I used to get seeing Sammy Sosa pull low and outside pitches 420 feet to left field...
Isnt Bosh linked to some HGH doctor? But it seems the media just pretty much ignored it, or are waiting for more info to come out.

Someone post draft pictures of Durant. You'll notice that Durant has fulled out alot since those days. He is never going to look like Lebron as he has the Garnett Bosh bodytype
I swear my mom/pops caught the growth on Lebron's jawline before anyone else did.
thats actually not a side effect of hgh at all.
Not only are you wrong that it's not a side effect, it's the single most common side effect.
Side Effects of HGH
The most common side effect of the excess use of HGH is acromegaly. This is a medical condition that begins with the overgrowth of facial bone and connective tissue, leading to a changed appearance due to protruding jaw and eyebrow bones. This condition also leads to an abnormal growth of the hands and feet with an increased growth of hair all over the body. Contrary to increasing your life, this condition will shorten life expectancy considerably.

I dont think Wade uses HGH. Being 210lbs-215lbs at 6'4'' isnt that impressive. Also he had a weird jaw even when he was a kid. You think his parents gave him HGH when he was 6-7 so he could become an NBA player?

Strange. Compared to his '04-06 pics it's clearly gotten wider.

HGH makes everything grow, including your internal organs and bones/skull.
Prolonged use of HGH or steroids causes your jaw/dome piece to grow.
That being said, I doubt he is on anything like that. His head would be growing along with his jaw, but that's not the case. He's always had a big jaw. You would see other signs waayyyyy before noticeable jaw growth.

^ Rudy's jaw is so freakin crooked, yet girls only notice the "cute stubble" on his face. It is crazy how many girls in Portland think he is hot and cannot tell his jaw is crooked.

Rudy is primarily right-brained, hence the dramatic features on his left.
It's the same reason why facially symmetric people like Jessica Alba are neither conservative nor liberal, rather somewhere in between.

I'm not so convinced. They have the best workout supplements in the world along with the best trainers and they workout year round.. not mention genetics. I know some clearly do, but I think after alonzo morning blew out his kidney from roids' they all know its not a good idea.

Who taught you that load of sh*t?
Edit: Nevermind, lol. I didn't see the white text.
Was barry bonds on HGH? Which drug made his head explode to the size of a large pumpkin.. Those mlb hats must have taken 6 Chinese women a week to actually put together with all that fabric.
Ok here are some interesting facts on HGH and steroids.
There are two factors that increases head size.
First, it is HGH -- NOT steroids. Human growth hormone is the only physical way possible for your head to actually grow once you reach adulthood, other than an overproduction of natural HGH due to a condition called acromeglia (this is what Andre the Giant had).
Most bones in your body have what are called growth plates that "close" around the age of 18, preventing any further natural growth. The exceptions are the head, hands and feet, which can continue to grow throughout life.
However, the only way they actually do grow is through massive levels of HGH in the bloodstream.
This is why Stallone, Bonds, and Canseco all have much bigger heads than they did 10 years ago. The HGH in their system tells spurs growth of the bones in their head, so their heads physically do get bigger (as an aside, the SF Giants trainer has been quoted as saying that Bonds is the only player he's ever come across who had to get fitted for bigger hats as his career progressed).
The other factor, which causes that "swollen" look around the jaws and chin could be either water retention (due to a number of conditions, possibly some steriods, possibly too much salt, possibly something else) or simply body fat.
As you age you tend to gain weight through fat, and one of the areas you can do it is below the chin. That part is just normal aging.
Polanco and Wade are related somehow:
