The Heat trio already has one year of experience playing together. They might even have a much deeper bench this season.

Trust me when I say it's happening. My source is supremely reliable.
Don't tease me now. lol. Toying with the Lakers is like toying with my emotions. I'll be the first to rep you when it goes down.
This would not only solidify LA as arguably the best team in the NBA; but it will make them a contender for the next six years at least.
Both Paul & Howard are only 26 years of age.
Howard, Okafor, Barnes, Bryant & Paul
Bynum for Howard
Gasol & Odom for Okafor & Paul
Bynum has a team option on his 4th year, so Orlando can choose to let him go and free-up space for free agency; or keep him if he does well for them. New Orleans will most likely use Odom & Gasol for bait, and send them off to a contender in need of their services.
It could actually happen. :oldlol:

the fact that so many people are taking this serious is truly embarrassing to me as an insane NBA obsessed fan.
There is no chance of this happening but yet idiots are gobbling up Chris Broussards BS like they always do.
As much as I love NBA rumors, I'm starting to get really sick and tired of this shit. Its not even funny reading how many Lakers fans on espn.com actually think this is happening.
Conceited is not even the word for some of these ppl.
The Heat trio already has one year of experience playing together. They might even have a much deeper bench this season.
They should focus on 5 consistent starters before a bench.
How is collusion even remotely similar to trading? What a stupid post.
LeBron and Bosh agreeing to join forces with Wade in Miami during their free agency =/= Team management improving their team through trades
Agreed with this. And, neither Bryant, Howard, or Paul is going to do an hour long special about how they're taking their talents to the City of Angels. That's the kicker.
Wow, after reading even a page of this thread.
Lakers fans are so delusional is actually just sad.
What happens when neither of these guys land with Lakers????
Breaking News...... Bulls looking to trade rights to Brian Scalabrine for Melo and Amare
LeBron actually donated the money to charity.

if this happens we will be entering the greatest era in NBA history
it will be
kobe,paul, howard
VS
James,wade, bosh

we truly are lucky as laker and heat fans lol

How are the fans delusional? Lakers front office have pulled off some absolutely amazing moves over the years dude. The reality is....it IS being thrown around in rumors, and there are murmurs out there....so it isnt like this is something the fans just fabricated out of thin air.
I doubt it's happening, but with the front office....you never can tell.

Dont forget the stars on the Knicks too. There would be some epic ratings this year for sure.

Heat vs. Lakers = Ratings.

Having a stacked team doesn't only benefit us on the basketball court...
Heat vs. Lakers = Ratings.
ratings = happy stern
Heat vs. Lakers = Ratings.
I cant even imagine those ratings. Highest of all time if both were to make the finals?
Of course this is all a nice little dream. I HIGHLY doubt even LA could pull off this deal...
But, one can play around and think about it....I mean christ...storied franchise like the Lakers with that team, against the big three in Miami? WOW.
Heat vs. Lakers = Ratings.
I thought the league wanted parity? Don't they want Sacramento vs Milwaukee in the finals?

lol...a guy who wont trade Deng for Kobe before Lakers won back to back...old timers know what a retard fcuk u r
This wouldn't happen unless the lakers added a lamar in the mix.
Bynum for Dwight can happen straight up because Bynum's value is still high considering he performed well last season without being injured much. The lakers will have to pick of the two most likely. Pau Gasol, a man who has played in the league for a very long time, is now at normal trade value, in a few years he will be deemed "old", which is why if the lakers wanted Gasol for Paul, there would have to be significant changes to that deal (i.e. add Odom).
Even then, the hornets would probably still reject that. The lakers don't have many young attractive pieces to pulling this off, and if they did pull this off, the team will have a completely new identity. Say goodbye to the supporting cast of Bynum, Gasol, Odom, Artest...and maybe even more...
Seeing that there is a new coach with a new system, i guess identity changed a while ago.
To put this into probabilistic perspective...
Dwight to the Lakers is at least 93.80%+ chance right now.
Paul to the Lakers before signing Dwight is only around a 44% chance.
Paul to the Lakers after signing Dwight is around a 83.77% chance.
It's happening.
Kobe would be the third best player on that team.
Bynum + filler for Dwight
Gasol + filler for Chris Paul
hmm..
Can the Knicks afford to sign Deron Williams next season if this goes through? :oldlol:
Knicks are :wtf: right about now.
This wouldn't happen unless the lakers added a lamar in the mix.
My source does say Odom and Artest will more than likely be included in the trades.
Look for Turkoglu and possibly Ariza to be in play as replacements. Ariza probably willing to take pay cut.

Or a third team who is a borderline contender would send picks & young talent to NO to add Gasol and become a contender.
My source does say Odom and Artest will more than likely be included in the trades.

How? Ariza is not a free agent. Plus he is still bitter towards LA.
kobe winning 3 more titles as 3rd fiddle will push him above jordan....
ahahaha

I know you won't give up your "source" but may i ask why he is a dependable source of information? What connection does he/she have to the nba world?
Or a third team who is a borderline contender would send picks & young talent to NO to add Gasol and become a contender.
And what would THEY get in return from the lakers?

I would trade Bynum/odom for D12/Hedo(take bad contract) give Magic 25mil expiring contracts
3 way trade for CP3
Pau to minny
D William/wes johnson/ webster to NO Hornets
CP3 to Lakers
My source does say Odom and Artest will more than likely be included in the trades.

I'd love to see Ariza back in a Laker jersey.

then
gasol/1st round pick/filler for paul/emekas contract
