Re: Chris Bosh 'The Flash King Boshtrich' showed us his fury tonight!
Good for Bosh, that was a clutch 3 made and tonight he showed he truly is a member of the big 3. I'm glad he shut up a lot of his haters who were calling Miamis big 3 the big "2 1/2" and shit.

cmon man.

You seem to have no qualms with getting personal on an internet forum. Cmon man, it's basketball, no reason to attack the kid because he doesn't fulfill your boyish, wide eyed, idolizing notions of how a star athlete should look or act

did i attack his character, or persona? i said it doesn't fit a ball player's image.
it's not boyish, i'm not idolizing. have you ever played basketball? do you go out to the blacktops and play, do you goto open gym, do you play in any league? a ball player is a tough, confident individual. Bosh, again, a cool dude, but absolutely does not fit a ball player's image, and thus cannot and will not lead a team.
if you were hooping, and bosh was your captain, you'd be cool with that? uh huh. buddy isn't a leader and i'm amazed at how he got this far the way he carries himself. i owe him a highfive.

Re: Chris Bosh 'The Flash King Boshtrich' showed us his fury tonight!
Bosh is mad skilled, that jumper is money, and he has shown the ability to finish with both hands. He seems to be taking last year personally and has been super aggressive. It's good to see this success because the hate has been overboard. It's made me root for the guy, I want to see him shove it in peoples faces (twss)
-
Re: Chris Bosh 'The Flash King Boshtrich' showed us his fury tonight!
Y'all can keep TRYING to hype Bosh up all y'all want to but the fact is he's a decent guy, NOT a superstar. The fact that Dirk made him a NON FACTOR in the Finals is evidence of that. He's so supposedly skilled, but correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't Dirk go off for like 20 to 30 points in the Finals?! What were Bosh's numbers for the Finals?! Game 2 with a few seconds left and Dirk scores on him to win the game, AND even the Finals....which they went on to lose. But yet he's so supposedly skilled....right?! Like I said in my previous statement, holla when he puts up numbers like that vs REAL competition.

He could be more utilized on a not-so-stacked team such as the Heat, but that would dramatically reduce his chances of, the ultimate goal, winning a ring. That's the catch 22 you guys fail to see.
The "basketball player image?" :facepalm
How's he tarnish that? By being an intelligent, well read, goofball who is a genuinely decent human being?

Good performance by Bosh :applause:
People underrating him just because he is playing alongside Lebron and Wade

Long live The Flash King Bosh!
-
Re: Chris Bosh 'The Flash King Boshtrich' showed us his fury tonight!
I'm a Heat fan, but anyone who watched the game will understand, that Bosh wasn't that impressive. Yeah, he hit a 3pt that led to OT, but he struggled playing in the post against Ivan Johnson and on the defensive end wasn't that great. Chalmers was the real MVP of the game, hitting vital shots and being cold blooded from FT. Bosh was solid, good game, but not great, and like Barkley said, Bosh isn't a player that you give the ball to and who will make plays and score at will.

Re: Chris Bosh 'The Flash King Boshtrich' showed us his fury tonight!
Bosh showed us the raptors bosh...being the go to guy...he showed how damn good a player he is. Incase people forgot.

-
Re: Chris Bosh 'The Flash King Boshtrich' showed us his fury tonight!
Bostrich is who he is - he is not a leader, but rather a very skilled bigman with wet jumper and a soft mentality. The fact that Dirk outplayed and punked him in the finals doesn't tell much about him either...
-
is it me or is Bosh more aggressive this season? he takes the ball to the hole more often than last season. this is a good sign
I think it's cause of his extra weight/muscle put on over the off season. Good to see cause he looked hesitant last season. With Bosh attacking, the Heat are a better team.

:oldlol: He's been going hard at the hole but then falls over like a princess.
-
Re: Chris Bosh 'The Flash King Boshtrich' showed us his fury tonight!
he has indeed been more aggressive and taking it to the rim. The only aspect of his game I don't like is when he drives and somehow loses the ball. It's like some sort of flop to get a foul called. it's very annoying when he loses the ball driving.
-
Re: Chris Bosh 'The Flash King Boshtrich' showed us his fury tonight!
I think the reason Bosh was over looked last year is because of how few touches he had. He is not a domination defender, so he needs the ball to show what he is capable of. He won;t be a streaky if they can continue to get him the ball. He was shooting very good against the Hawks.

Re: Chris Bosh 'The Flash King Boshtrich' showed us his fury tonight!
When Bosh puts up these numbers without the rest of the Heatles, I believe he should be traded along with a draft pick or two for a passing point, Deron Williams. Being the star of the Nets, he would be playing like this a lot.

He was part of the problem. The main problem was LBJ, of course, but Bosh didnt' help much. There was one game Bosh was just unbelievably bad in (can't remember what game though...). Anyways, yeah, Bosh is a very good player, not a true number one option, but an excellent number two.

Re: Chris Bosh 'The Flash King Boshtrich' showed us his fury tonight!
It's funny how people want to say Bosh doesn't fit the persona of the leader of a championship team when people were saying the same thing about Dirk for the past five years. Winning changes everything.

The difference is that Dirk has been consistent throughout his career, regardless of the "choker" label. Bosh was more hype than consistency. He was in Toronto, and really did nothing for that team. Dirk IS the Mavs franchise player, moreso than ever now. You can't even try to compare them to each other.

Anybody trying to compare Dirk and Bosh has NO CLUE of what they're talking about. Yeah, Bosh was the franchise player for the Raptors.....and.....?!:confusedshrug:
Dirk was labeled a choker for how many years, now. But like I previously said he has been consistent. What did Bosh do for Toronto?!:sleeping

Dirk CONSISTENTLY took the Mavs to the playoffs also, and again was ALWAYS their most consistent player. Yeah, they kept getting bounced out the playoffs, but again Dirk was STILL consistent. After a few playoff eliminations, Bosh left Toronto for Miami while Dirk is still a Mav, so please keep TRYING to connect dots with lines that CLEARLY aren't there.
Try again:no:

Bosh was a no-show during the first three games but Miami had a 2-1 lead so in a way his poor performances weren't a factor when the Heat were leading in the series.
Games 4, 5 and 6, Bosh was actually Miami's best player. Guess who sucked during these three game stretch? The so-called King of course.
-
Re: Chris Bosh 'The Flash King Boshtrich' showed us his fury tonight!
Games 4, 5 and 6, Bosh was actually Miami's best player.
Not even remotely close. Wade was the Heat's best player in Games 1 -5. James was the best in Game 6. In no game does Bosh get that distinction.
And what was most frustrating, in spite of his par for the course numbers, was his inability to string two good halves together. As good as he was in the first half of Game 4, he was as bad as LeBron in the second half, repeatedly missing easy shots at the rim. And the Heat only needed to find four more points in that game, and then they would have gone up 3-1.

Re: Chris Bosh 'The Flash King Boshtrich' showed us his fury tonight!
Bosh deserves a bump tonight!
25/8 11-17 shooting.
