I'll just quote myself from last night when the story broke
So going by this report and solely the report, it seems the ONLY thing keeping Howard from being a Bull is Howard himself. Apparently, they seem to like our package the best, and it IS the best if you included Deng, Gibson, Asik and some picks, no other trade in the league has a deal that good, makes sense Orlando wanted it.
But I'm glad the Bulls GM's basically cut the deal, especially with Howard and his attitude about this being all indecisive. All that "Rose is my bro" crap is just that, crap. He's made it pretty clear he does not want to be here, and if that's the case, fukk him.
It s good that Dwight doesnt want to come to Chicago because that trade would make it very tough for us to beat them.
Otis Smith wanting Boozer over Noah.
Dwight's an idiot.
Just wanted to repeat that.
Dwight wants a PG that will pass to him. Not a PG that would hog the ball. end of story.
Dwight wants a PG that will pass to him. Not a PG that would hog the ball. end of story.
Too bad Bulls are the number one team in the league in Assist...you know, NOT hogging the Ball...
/idiot
That's a terrible deal for Orlando, even if it's Gibson instead of Boozer...no Noah?
At least with Noah, he could play PF while Asik plays C and Deng at the 3...with draft picks and them taking back Turkoglu, that's good.
Carlos Boozer I won't even taker seriously. But if the Bulls don't wanna send away both Deng and Noah (for chemistry reasons), I get it...but I don't see the great value for Orlando...tho then again, Noah makes a lot of money.
That would be almost unstoppable though
Rose
Rip
Turk
Noah
Howard
That's possibly the best front court in the league.

Turkoglu would be a good compliment to Rose on the ball-handling and playmaking side.
I'd rather trade Noah than trade Deng. Deng is better and Noah next to Howard isn't necessary. In that case Turk could play the point 4 and help spread the floor, which works with Dwight. He rebounds and defends everything anyway.
Adidas won't allow Howard to sign there long term due to DRose already having that market. They are Adidas top 2 guys.
Pretty sure adidas already shot that rumor down.
Turkoglu would be a good compliment to Rose on the ball-handling and playmaking side.

Yea I would keep Deng too, but it seems Orlando was hell bent on making sure Deng was in the trade. What I find odd is that they wanted Boozer over Noah.
Lebron prostitutes don't like this trade ... lol
Pretty sure adidas already shot that rumor down.
They even said that would produce BETTER results marketing them together...
You'd have Adidas Chicago Bulls shoe commercials all over the place.

Yup. I'm pretty sure even with Rose, Chicago is still probably dominated by the Jordan brand. Maybe with their 2 top players with adidas it would be different though.
Rose would not make Dwight better. Deron would. Boozer would still be a 21-12 with Deron. Deron is a better passer/distributor.
Not to mention Otis Smith would be fired right after he made this deal. Boozer/Deng for Dwight?
Boozer would be on the Bulls if he played the same minutes as he did in Utah too.....
Rose and Howard > D will and Howard
Edit: Boozer averaged 21 and 12 TWICE in Utah with Deron. Since then his numbers have been pretty much the same as they are now.
How Otis Smith still has a job is beyond me.
He's one of the worst general managers I've ever seen.
But then why would he be willing to go to new Jersey?
I suppose personal preference.
Refusing to go to Shitcago. :applause:
And here I thought he was an idiot. Very smart move. :applause:

did i say Dwight wants a TEAM to pass him the ball or did i say PG? yeah, those assists numbers were because of Rose :facepalm
you better believe it that if Dwight comes to Chicago, he will rot in that post and Rose won't pass to him. isn't that why Dwight wants to leave Orlando? because the only guy who consistently feeds him is Turkoglu. everyone else would rather jack a 3 and then watch him work the boards.
that's why he wants to play with Deron. Dwight has never had a pass-first PG to play with.
If Chicago pulled that off, that could easily mean multiple championships. Best PG and best C in the league together. Add the pieces of RIP, Noah, Turk and Gibson and good luck to the rest of the league.

Its not his fault, their desperate. Doesn't help when Bynum has been inconsistent all season, and Lopez refuses to stay healthy. What other options they had beside Chicago? The fact they are the #1 team in the east, and Otis would be taking Key pieces of that #1 team helps.
I dont believe the pieces being offered/asked for (Bulls). But I do believe Dwight Howard has no desire to sign an extension in Chicago if he were dealt there.
Orlando wants to trade the best center in the league for a jump shooting PF? They dont want Noah in return? :wtf:
If Chicago pulled that off, that could easily mean multiple championships. Best PG and best C in the league together. Add the pieces of RIP, Noah, Turk and Gibson and good luck to the rest of the league.
Unfortunately for Bulls fans, it's not going to happen.
if Chi is giving all that what do they have remaining?

So is that why Noah is a double double machine and had a triple double a few weeks ago? Add the fact he and Rose have the strongest chemistry out of any Bulls players, the way a PG and C should.
If that's rotting, let me get in the league and Rot. And get paid.
Forget this dude. If he comes, he comes. Bulls are still fine without this chump. Make up your mind, princess.

The Bulls are #1 in assists and Rose averages 8 assists a game (would be closer to 9 or more with Howard). Your opinion is complete shit.
Forget this dude. If he comes, he comes. Bulls are still fine without this chump. Make up your mind, princess.
My thoughts exactly. The Bulls are a great team with amazing chemistry. Why do they need to shake things up?

I don't understand how Orlando wouldn't go for Bynum rather than this. I mean, would anyone here seriously take Booz/Deng over Bynum? :lol
if Chi is giving all that what do they have remaining?
Rose
Rip
Brewer
Korver
Noah
Gibson
Lucas
Watson
Scalabrine
Butler
Don't really lose much at all really

Booz, Deng, Asik and that charlotte pick I believe.
That's a better deal than Bynum

not from a cap stand point

Sorry, I'd take Bynum over that package anyday. Get a clue
Sorry, I'd take Bynum over that package anyday. Get a clue
Doesn't mean Orlando would.
Booz, Deng, Asik and that charlotte pick I believe.

Not really. That pick is protected for quite a while. You might as well say Lakers throw in their 2018 pick or something (which would be around when Kobe retires). This deal is basically Deng and Asik for Dwight cause Boozer is def not long term. Honestly, I'de rather take my chances w/ free agency and hope to land a couple ppl than take this trade. Bynum >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> this.
. Bynum >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> this.
No, Bynum's potential is this, but Bynum this season hasn't been and has been below expectations. Basically, taking in Bynum would be taking the risk of whether or not he pans out. And it seems Orlando didn't want to take the risk, and go with consistency.
Just so people know this is what the Charlotte pick is believed to look like (it was never actually released, at least it wasn't a few months ago): top 14 protected in 2012, top 12 protected in 2013, top 10 protected in 2014, top 8 protected in 2015, unprotected in 2016.
Can't believe the we're going to watch a superstar leave a 50-win team.
We're going to have the best C and PG in the league on one team.
And the best SG and SF on another.
This is not good for the league gentleman. :facepalm
