How do you explain how LeBron James has more assists than Tony Parker?

Easy... Lebron is the best passing non-PG in NBA history, at that size nobody but Magic Johnson had better Point-Guard skills.... and Tony Parker is more of a scoring PG with less court vision than Lebron, that might explain it somewhat... and im sure if Lebron decided to play PG im sure he would had more assists than most today except Jason Kidd and Steve Nash :D

he can have more assists, who has more rings though, who won a [SIZE=6]finals[/SIZE] mvp?

Another fun fact:

Lebron during all his 8 and a half seasons as a starter has more total assists than Steve Nash had during his first 8-9 seasons as a starter... Nash didnt really start to pile up 10+ APG until he went to the run n gun Phoenix

2nd of all, doesnt help Parker whatsoever compared to Lebron... even Cedric Maxwell, JoJo White, Billups, Dennis Johnson and so on had a Finals MVP... its only 4-6 games and goes to the winning team only, even if the loser averaged a 100 point quadruple double...

since when did Tony Parker become the prototypical PG anyways? He's been a scoring PG his whole career... Parker (having improved greatly as a playmaker the last 5 years) is just now breaking the 7.0 APG mark.

Everyone knows Bron can put up some nice stats, it's time he does it on the biggest stage, we can let the first Finals slide since he was 22 going up against the dynasty Spurs, but last year was unforgivable, Bron CHOKED for whatever reason. At this point, no one gives a **** what he does in the regular season, they want to see him lead his team to a title. Until he does that, he won't be respected by NBA fans. Dude said himself "winnining will be the easy part, not 1 , not 2, not 3"...:facepalm

honestly i would still hate on lebron.

if he wins a ring nobody can take it away from him. he wins that ring it doesnt matter if a million haters hate on him a minute. he will know that he and his team was the best that year and for that moment they couldnt be beat.

stats are good and all that but they play to win.

Lebron's a better passer than Parker is. He's top five in the league with his vision.

Nash couldn't quite have the ball in his hands as much playing with Dirk. Suns were well below average in transition buckets last season with his best scorer as Jrich/ Gortat before and after the trade. Nash would be averaging double digit assists going to any team that let him run the offense, not just the run and gun Suns. Nash is the best passer with the best court vision in the league, don't try to play him down.

Simple. San Antonio runs a team basketball oriented motion offense. Heat run Iso dominated basketball. Lebron has the ball in his hands more than many PG's.
