Kobe in first again. what a f*cking joke lol
It's a pretty good list.
I don't get the Chandler hate.
Few changes I would make....
Duncan or Garnett should have made it over Chandler at Center for the 3rd team.
Garnett or Pierce should have made it over Melo at Forward for the 3rd team.
Westbrook or Parker should have made it over Kobe at Guard for the 1st team.
Bynum should have made it over Howard at Center for the 1st team.
Garnett could be listed as either Forward or Center this season since he played both.
The rest is about right I suppose.
Bolded are not centers. They do not get to reap the rewards of being listed as the greatest power forwards of all time, then conveniently shove them back to center when the forward position becomes log jammed.

Garnett is listed as a center-forward on nba.com, has spent minutes at center every game he's played and has started every game at center since the All-Star break. He has not started playing center for the sake of accolades (he hasn't gotten any awards this season anyhow), he's done it because the guys that were counted on to play center have been hurt so the Celtics need him to play big.
It's not a big deal though, KG has plenty of ASGs and All-NBAs, it's not like a lot of people are saying he's inferior to Chandler (I hope). He was probably listed as a forward on the ballot.
Where's James Harden? Dude is a beast. Better than Kobe this season.

15 y/o John Hollinger strikes again
Switch Parker or Westbrook for Kobe and switch Dirk and Griffin and it looks pretty good.
Hell, take Griffin off and put Lamarcus on 3rd team.

Nope. He might have been better than Wade though.
Griffin cannot close out games like a superstar can. In the crunch time in the clutch, the ball is in Paul's hand because they know that he's the best player.
How can you not argue that Griffin is THE most empty stat-padder in the game. He's not given the ball in isolation type of plays in the clutch because he has zero post game, can't shoot free throws for sh*t and can't create plays at 10% the level that someone like KG or Duncan did at the PF spot. Not to mention the fact that he plays zero defense whatsoever. Anyone with half a brain can see the Clippers' success this year was almost entirely the result of Chris Paul coming to the Clippers. I don't hate the Clips at all, I think Paul deserved 1st team.
Listen, there is nothing to argue. This list sucks.
How Dirk and CARMELO make the list ahead of Josh Smith and Paul Pierce...and ahead of JOSH SMITH, who should have made the 2nd Team (Griffin should have made 3rd).
Carmelo plays like garbage. Has a great month, and suddenly he put together an All-NBA season. Absolute garbage.
And Tyson..I appreciate the hell out of you. But you should not have been on the All-NBA Team. You all can save your KG's and your Duncan's. Marc Gasol should have been there.
Rondo misses 14 games...no worries, cuz Wade misses 17. And somehow, even with Rondo not playing as well as he did last year, he makes it. And Wade makes it. Harden doesn't make it. And worse, Steve Nash is screwed.
And Rose has more points than of the next guards...that's embarrassing.

If what you're saying is true.. and the entire Clippers turnaround is a result of Paul's play... then you feel CP3 should have won the MVP award no question?

Duncan is listed as a F/C and has played center the last 3 years.

Wade took Harden's spot.
Why are people sucking on Chandler's balls so hard?
He's plays for the Knicks that why...when he was playing for the Mavs he wasn't even talked about that much.
Blake Griffin on 2nd team? :wtf:
No Duncan? :wtf:
God, some of this year's awards/selections have been just awful :facepalm
Why are people sucking on Chandler's balls so hard?
I think because he was the only constant on a NY team everyone wants to see as a contender or soon-to-be-contender.

Good choices.
Something is wrong with this. 120 people vote. There are 5 positions per team. So there should be 600 total 1st Team votes. There are only 593 mentioned.
I already assumed that some people voted Kevin Love as a C (5 open votes between Lebron and Durant, and Love gets 16 and Melo another).
But there is something missing. Maybe some of the guys who missed being on any of the teams haven't had their 1st team votes listed. But there are 7 missing votes.

Not necessarily, just because Paul was the biggest reason for the Clippers' improvement doesn't mean that I think that he is deserving of the MVP award.
I think the MVP award can largely be considered a combination of most valuable and best player in the world, and I agree with that thinking. While Paul was the key cog in my opinion, there is no doubt in my mind that James deserved the MVP award.
For one, though Paul improved the Clippers, LeBron couldn't really improve the Heat as much from last year because he had been a part of their nucleus last year. However, he proved to me to be as valuable to the Heat as CP3 is to the Clips because he continuously carried the team throughout the season, particularly when Wade was hurt. Like CP3, if James doesn't perform at a high level, the Heat stink. Not to mention the fact that he played DPOY caliber defense.
In addition, I thought that overall as a player James is/was superior to CP3 in almost every aspect. Also, statistically speaking, he was better (though it's iffy to compare across positions) and had less off nights than Paul. I do think CP3 was rightfully awarded 1st team All-NBA but he did not deserve 1st defense at all and James was the right choice for MVP.

Could've gone to people who didn't make any of the teams maybe?

Josh Smith was robbed again. Should have been second or third team All-NBA.
Stern really hates him.
List was on point for the most part. But Duncan should be up there somewhere, oh well..
i have a problem with blake being on the 2nd team. he did not deserve it over Dirk or KG
When u think about it, Blake had a better season than Dirk did.
Could've gone to people who didn't make any of the teams maybe?
Like I said, in the vote totals I've seen, none of the players who missed had a 1st Team vote noted.
