chuckoakley, now that I think about it philly might finish fourth after Brooklyn but that's a toss up for me. Celts and NYK are def one and two in the division.
Poor Toronto :lol
How are NYK over Sixers???? Your team struggled to get over them last season. What improvements were made because you lost golden boy Jeremy Lin. What? His impact was overrated huh? Kidd/Felton replaces Lin now huh? Shumpert healthy? Doh. Like come on you NYK clowns kill me. Joke of a franchise. Cant wait.
Only team I give respect too is Boston. Miami goes without question. BKN? NYK? Indy? FOH, and thats short for f*ck outta here.

Other than Center were are they above average?
PG?
Holiday seems very medicore.
I take:
Paul
D.Will
Rondo
Nash
Parker
RW
Irving
Lawson
Lowry
Rose
Wall
Rubio
Curry
Dragic
Conley
over him. That is 15.
What about SG with J.Rich?
Kobe
Wade
JJ
Ellis
Harden
Gordon
George
Afflalo
Iggy
Roy (healthy)
Manu
Thompson
Martin
are all better. He seems to be in a vague group of:
Evans
Dudley
W.Matthews
Hayward
Stuckey
Shumpert
At SF is Turner:
LBJ
Durant
Melo
Granger
Batum
Gallinari
Wallace
Pierce
AK
H.Barnes
Beasley
Marion
Gay
Deng
are better
At PF is Hawes I guess....
Love
LMA
Dirk
Bosh
Amare
Bargnani
Ilyasova
West
Boozer
Monroe
J.Smith
Nene
Faired
Milsap
Ibaka
Lee
Scola
Griffin
Gasol
AD

All better.

Re: I shaved my ass and got it waxed. Its ripe for kissing as the Sixers season will OWN
They have a very solid team.
Turner is likely to play SG, and Richardson has to play off the bench. Wright seems the clear choice to start at the 3.
Hawes has got to be traded. He's a very solid player and centers are worth it. Plus, there is no way in hell that he's a PF.
Run the team thru Turner and Holiday. Let them set up Bynum. The team should be very good. Do not play thru Bynum. It's too early for that.

I will say this, I like their long-term potential. I just don't think it happens this season.

qft. Not sure why so many ppl are buying the Nets. One of the worst teams in the NBA adds an 18ppg SG and get their 17/7 C back while having a worse bench. Yep, playoff bound. I like the Raptors ahead of the Nets.
re: Sixers, has everyone forgot that NBA teams have coaches? Doug Collins can get a lot out of that roster.

With a top 8 SG/SF who was the undoubted leader of the team. I think people are underestimating how much veteran leadership will matter over the course of the season.
So again.. prediction on wins?
I'm down for some sort of over/under wager.

Sixers 54 wins
I'm in a FF league that is in its 3rd year. All 3yrs were worth money. And ask Kblaze if I'm good for bets.
Iggy top 8 you say and Bynum is top what in regards to centers and big men in general? Yeah that's what ithought. Sixers will miss Brands Veteran presence. You're giving Iggy too much credit in that department to make your argument. Jason Richardson isn't a veteran? Solid. Bynum will grow into that role just as Iggy did, am I right?
Sixers not winning the title. But Conference Finals is definitely possible with this team. No question.

You thought Lin sucked so nice try there. I'll keep my center, you can keep Bynum. Chandler vs. Bynum's backup as he undergoes knee procedure 271 is a matchup i'm pretty confident in. (But don't worry, that knee procedure doesn't indicate a problem so it's ok.)
