Great match. Tsonga still hanging, but is hould be over soon.
That last serve by Fed was out, and the line man doesn't call it. Tsonga ain't challenging that obviously since he then loses on a technicality.
Fed has had a monstrous draw and is still in the semis. If he pulls this out it would be the most impressive slam of his career.
Djokovic demolished Ferrer in 3 sets

Told ya a 5 hour match was not gonna slow Novak down :applause:
Djokovic is an awful matchup for ferrer. He just has no way to hurt Novak.
i think its time to start watching the tourney
fed against murray and then in the final vs djokovic
should be fun
holy god, did anyone see Serena's ankle?

Blake Griffin would be proud.
That shit Azarenka pulled was complete BS. If you have to leave the court for 10 minutes, you should lose the match, period. I don't care if you're really injured or not, injuries are part of the game.
I don't even like how they are allowed to take 5 minute "trainer" breaks when they are cramping. Cramping is part of fitness, and if you aren't fit enough to hang with your opponent, then you should lose.

so are medical timeouts where you leave the court. those are the rules, don't get mad at her for using them.

The rules need to be changed, that's the point.
And I don't care if it's within the rules or not, it's incredibly poor sportsmanship. Azarenka lots a lot of fans with that shady move, and I'm one of them. Hopefully Li Na causes her to have another "heart attack" in the Final.
And actually, the rules allow for a 3 minute timeout, not 10 minutes. The rule needs to be adjusted not to allow back to back injury timeouts, and the time allowed needs to be enforced. If you take longer than 3 minutes, you forfeit the set. If you take more than 5 minutes, you are DQ'd and forfeit the match.
i don't like shriekarenka in the first place, but i have no problem with her taking that break.
it's not like this is some kind of routine ploy she pulls in order to get an unfair advantage (er, no... thought would be her grunting / shrieking on every shot). but odd things sometimes happen on the court, and if the rules permit a player to use an injury timeout to take a mental break, that's on the rules, not on the player.
shriekarenka was ALREADY a borderline cheater, but i'm not going to blame her for a one-time refuge in to the rules system. nadal and djokovic have plenty more to say on that subject, and i like both of them as players.
but hopefully li na kicks her ass, shortly...
Murray is such a choker... It's really sad... Even if he wins this match, I doesn't change the fact that he is mentally weak...
Going 5 come on Fed!

Boy that 5th set was ugly
i love how fed is still challenging these top players who are 6 years younger than him. he's really the goat. i dont feel so disappointed with his losses anymore as it feels like it's all gravy now.
now, murray or djokovic? feels like murray is gonna win but i'm rooting for hole!
Women's final on in an hour.

Its nice to remember he's older than Andy Roddick.
Also interesting fed fact, he's made 35 straight slam qfs. The second longest streak? Djokovic with 15. I really hope he makes through the French next year as that would give him a solid decade of making every single qf

up until recently, he had made the last $@# SEMIfinals... i think that streak broke last year.
i miss nadal. got no rooting interest now that murrays got his US open last year. ah well, go murray again!
jokavic reminds me too much of aaron rodgers. maybe they look alike or maybe cuz they make their sports look so easy.
Djoker vs. Murray final starting now on ESPN.
oh man both these guys are playing amazing tennis right now, this is going to be good. No way I make it even 3 sets though.
WTF Novak gave up on the ****n tiebreak like a bitch, so mad at him right now.

that record is insane! and something like 19 out of 20 grand slam finals, some of the records he set are just insane and will probably never be broken. to be honest, i'm hoping for a second french open title for him though highly unlikely.
congrats to djokovic! he just showed the world why he's number 1!
It was a boring match, Murray is as exciting as a bullfrog...
djokovic. cool.
still the best player in the world, i see.
would have been cool to see murray win it, but whatever... awesome work as usual, mister serbia!
I caught the final tonight. These two guys know each other so damn well...
