I found you some gems.
Wade's career averages
25.2 PPG
6.2 APG
5.1 RPG
.486% FG
Pistol Pete
24.2 PPG
5.4 APG
4.2 RPG
.441% <---- with old school defense
In an era dominated by big men, pistol pete put up slightly lower stats than wade did in a league with rule changes designed for guards to succeed...you're acting like I compared him to **** ing Nick Young. Pistol is a legend....not sure what anyone is laughing about

no 3 pointers
no shaq or lebron
harder rules
yeah, no arguments....
Notice in the first quote he used inferior regular season averages and never discussed pistols horrid playoff history. Of course he takes regular season a lot more seriously as a knicks fan.
He also posted this pos article DIGGING through google http://www.hoopsvibe.com/features/breaking-down-the-nba/169957-top-10-shooting-guards-of-all-time

My bad type what was that argument again?
Because I argued the opposite ? :facepalm
You didn't bring up any good arguments to the table. I think your opinion is absurd, but I'd at least listen to it if you had a credible argument for it. You didn't.
Then it turned into a Heat Vs Knicks thing, and again you couldn't come up with a credible argument except ECF banners.

all he can post about now is a superior playoff team like the raptors over his knicks. He was exposed and won't touch the subject again :lol

Wow...
I haven't dealt with him much (we got into a bit in a thread about Melo iirc), but he needs to do a much better job if he wants to convince anybody (finding evidence that supports his claim would be a start).
I don't want to pile on, but it seems to be a trend with Knicks fans. I'm from the NYC area, and basketball is a distant third here after baseball and football (from what I understand, back in the 70s when the Knicks were great and the Nets were dominating the ABA, people were pretty hardcore). Rarely will you find someone here whose favorite league is the NBA.
The resurgence that began when Amar'e signed as a free agent is definitely good for the sport (and it makes for good conversation; my buddies from college love basketball but all of my family/friends from home are casuals at best with regards to basketball). The problem though, is that most Knicks fans I know from here jumped on the bandwagon recently, and don't have a great grasp of the sport of basketball/the league/players/history/etc. I'd call it homerism, but with the new generation of fans it's rather some brand of delusion/willful ignorance, expressed in a passive-aggressive fashion.
Don't get me wrong, I don't have a problem with the fanbase (new or old) by and large. This is just how I see it as an 'outsider' (I don't have a team per se, but I'll root for the Nets/Knicks since they're local teams; similarly, I'll pull for the Warriors since I went to school in the Bay Area...I'm just too detached to be considered a fan of any of the three), viewing the phenomenon from the inside.
Saying the raptors are better right now in the playoffs is just trolling
this is how we know you lost, all you can do is talk about the raptors when you realized you could no longer back this up
Wade over Gervin, Iverson, Havlicek?!?!?

That's a good observation and you're probably right. But I'm not sure being a bandwagon fan warrants making claims like pete over wade. That's more like being a hater of a rival team. He can just look at footage and tell who was the better player and even though stats don't tell that whole story he can look at them as well, especially the post season stats. But yeah it has to be hate because you won't find anywhere unless you dig deep in google for retarded articles like he did to make such claims or even get the idea pete was a better player than wade. Career wise and individual player.. wade was better. No idea how he came up with the idea pete was better all time. Not even casual knicks fans should know who mr pete was or why they would even care for a player like him.
All you did was talk about the knicks so how else am I supposed to respond?
I didnt even say shit about the knicks. I said only a knick fan would post something as stupid as pete>wade and that was clearly a lame shot at you. Dumbass
ok.....
All you did was talk about the knicks so how else am I supposed to respond?
You started it when you said "the knicks kept the heat in the cellar for 10+ years"
You get owned, then you start complaining that we're talking about the Knicks too much. If you actually gave a credible argument for Pete being better than Wade, nobody would have attacked you for being a Knicks fan. You made yourself an easy target.
The knicks owned the heat for 10+ years

If you're going to make posts like this, why are you getting butt hurt when people trash the Knicks?
No chance in hell. Allen Iverson >> Pistol Pete Maravich. Wade is arguably the 3rd greatest SG of all time.
THE RAPTORS HAVE WON MORE PLAYOFF GAMES THAN THE KNICKS IN THE LAST DECADE :lol
:applause:
What totally goes over people's heads is the fact that in 6 of the 8 playoff series the Heat have played since the Big 3 formed, the opposing coaches of those series' have chosen to double Wade.
And in a 7th series of the 8, Wade was doubled half the time in the 7th one as well (to go along with Wade being doubled fulltime in 6 other playoff series since the 2011 playoffs began).
www.youtube.com/watch?v=O-VzBeOrdAg
^^ listen to the announcer at the beginning in what was one of Lebron's biggest playoff games with Miami,, the doubling of Wade was prevalent in 6.5 of the 8 playoff series' over the past 2 playoffs, WADE DOUBLE TEAMED THROUGHOUT those 6+ series (and this is well documented with sources all over the place). So do some of you even know what you're watching ? Do you even understand anything about this sport, before rambling on about things that go way over your head & have no clue about..
This is with Lebron on his team. Over and over again starting from the first 2011 series against the 76ers with Doug Collins stating the guy that scares them is Wade and said he will make sure Wade's always doubled, has been the MO from opposing coaches through and through. Opposing coaches aren't dumb, they know who's lethal when it really counts. Wade owns the 2 best PER series performances in NBA Finals history for damn good reasons
Yep for sure.
Pistol never got supported by the commish and yet he was relatively successful.
Yes or no. It seems a knick's fan thinks it's debatable and is certain pistol pete is better than wade all time. He wants to compare a choker to a champ.
OP tell me you know the guys on Pete's all-time great New Orleans Jazz. No. Just tell me you ever heard of even one single guy on that team but Pistol.
You may have heard of Mike Bibby's dad which is Henry. But based on your post.... have you heard of Mike Bibby?
I can think of a lot of guys that would "choke" on that team. Want me to list some guys that would choke with that team? Dwyane Wade would be at the top of the list.
Of course not. Stats, accolades, and approx 20 minutes of Pistol Pete footage that exists do not lie.
