Re: Tyson Chandler...everybody's fault but his
I want him gone.
5.8 points,7.8 rebounds,1.2 blocks
Those are his playoff numbers as a Knick. We're paying $10+ mil. for that ???
In 3 series he played he got outplayed by his opponent every single time.
Trade his bum ass while he still has some value and isn't exposed as a fraud he really is.

There's really no debating anything you said. He got $14 million dollars to get outplayed by a 37 year old Kevin Garnett and a career underachiever in Roy Hibbert.

to think that by watching hibbert defend for 6 games, he'd give it a a try instead of mauling everyone that comes near him for fouls

Re: Tyson Chandler...everybody's fault but his
Simply put, the guy is overpaid and overrated. He never was a great help defender. He's never been a big time shot blocker despite his height and athleticism. His claim to fame was always his on ball defense. That alone, IMO, makes him overpaid. (Why pay a guy 14 mill when there are only about 5 centers in the league who are a threat down low?) Either way, he's shown he's not even that good of an on ball defender. Simply put...he needs to go. Do your job and stop blaming your teammates for the fact that YOU GOT YOUR ASS BUSTED

But every time he caught an alley oop or we were up in a game...he was fine. My issue isn't even his play anymore. It's that he had the nerve to repeatedly call out other guys on the team but won't take ownership for the fact that he was arguably the worst Knick out there. I don't know how people skip form Melo all the way to JR in terms of blame, but he played WORSE than JR. I didn't even know it was possible lol

Re: Tyson Chandler...everybody's fault but his
i don't remember him catching an alley oop. Guy couldn't really jump or move. I think I saw maybe 2 of his infamous back taps in playoffs.
So what he spoke up I think that should be done in the locker room but who is to say it wasn't said.
It just annoying he sacrificed his health to play. He was in a no win situation don't play he'd get killed tried to play and was significantly less than 100% gets killed.

Out of his 6 rebounds in Game 6, only 1 was defensive. 3 were back taps. Almost all of his points came off dunks and alleys this post season. I don't even remember how he scored his one basket.
My biggest issue is, if you know you aren't playing up to par, who are you to call other people out? You shouldn't be calling people out in the media REGARDLESS. Do that in house and in house only! But before you do that, look in the mirror.

I'm sorry sir but you cannot take a bunny hop before you spin lol. Either way, if you gotta go all the way back to Nov 21 to find an offensive move, then I think he doesn't deserve to get the ball lmao

How about this.... I have a bulging disc in my back/neck... In all actuality I should have surgery or be out for 5 months depending on where and the severity of the injury. You guys in this locker room know I am not suppose to be playing but I am gutting this out for my team...
You guys get your sh!t together.... I can see this spin on it.
My only issue is this should be said in the locker room he could have said it and nothing happened so he took it publicly.

He would have gotten killed even further if he sat out the entire playoffs.
I really dont think Barron was an answer....a meaningless regular season game does not equal the playoffs.
Gotta recall though, Copeland actually started the very first game for us against Boston and o-fer'd.
Played in game 2 and 0-fer'd
Had another o-fer as well, i thnk Woodson only played him again in desperation, but you gotta agree if a player bombs that hard, usually they aren't see n again expecially a rook.

Re: Tyson Chandler...everybody's fault but his
Interesting quote from Woody. I can't say I disagree at all, but it also makes me reiterate the lack of congruence between Woody and Grunwald. I just don't get how you see this and don't say something to your GM:
Mike Woodson
He mentioned yesterday that he wants to establish something, and I want to help him because I think big guys should be able to catch the ball and play offense and rebound the ball instead of tapping it out," Woodson added. "Rebound the ball to go back up and perhaps get a foul or score a bucket."

Chandler should be in no position to point fingers but it seems like he's pointed all 10. I've yet to hear him take ownership for his poor play. Not to mention, the dude hasn't added anything to his game since he's been a rookie and he has the nerve to turn down Hakeem lol

How does a player complete over 60% of their shots for two years straight if they can catch?
As far as the rebounding, i dont care how he gets em, just get him.
Just curious, why is this being brought up now, this article was from May?

Re: Tyson Chandler...everybody's fault but his
The article was updated today at 12:41
And I'm not saying Woody wants Tyson traded but clearly he sees a problem so either get the guy outta here or find a solid backup. Knowing the guy has major limitations, I don't get how Kenyon Martin has been our best backup. Seems a bit irresponsible.
-
Re: Tyson Chandler...everybody's fault but his
Please get rid off Tyson. I'll actually forgive Grunwald giving away 3 picks for Bargnani if he can get something decent for Tyson.
-
Re: Tyson Chandler...everybody's fault but his
I'm hearing rumors of a Chandler trade to Golden State. I don't know how true they are as my source isn't one I'd confide in. The trade would send Chandler to GS for Bogut and Barnes. Needless to say, I'd do it in a heartbeat.

IBN SPORTS @IBNINCARCERATED
**BREAKING NBA NEWS**Source: After #Raptors deal goes through Knicks are trading #Chandler ---#Warriors are the team that's rumored #IBN

Re: Tyson Chandler...everybody's fault but his
if we can make that lee and barnes, would be great, bogut is a second away for an injury from happening
-
Re: Tyson Chandler...everybody's fault but his
Any deal for bogut unless he's expiring makes this team significantly worse! Even if you get Barnes.
But I don't believe this I would need a credible source.

But as I said, it was only a rumor and I don't stand by the source.

Re: Tyson Chandler...everybody's fault but his
Bogut actually played GREAT in the playoffs, averaged 7 points,11 rebounds in 27 minutes with very good defense.
We all know Tyson will be useless come playoff time (like he has been for 2 straight years) so why not get a young asset in Barnes and Bogut who's injury prone but if he's healthy he's a much better player than Chandler.
I'd do that trade in a heartbeat. If Bogut's contract is expiring then it's a no brainer.

Chandler has a time released flu virus. It only shows up after bad games and playoff time.
