Re: LeBron travelled twice in the last play..
Explain the first step before the first bounce when he lets go of his pivot foot?
His right foot was established as his pivot foot and as long as you dribble the ball before the pivot comes back down, it is not a travel. Look up the rules bruh

Re: LeBron travelled twice in the last play..
He can't. That would be admitting its a travel.
God damn I can't believe these dumbass LeBron* stans. These guys are almost as screwed in the head as Apple fanatics that wait 2 weeks in a sleeping bag for an iPhone.

His LEFT foot was established BEFORE he caught the ball and THEN moved his right foot, then took off from his left BEFORE starting the dribble.
Open your eyes you muppet..... or better yet, quit being a LeBron* dickrider.

Re: LeBron travelled twice in the last play..
Plenty of players travel. George got away with at least a couple as well, one on a 3-point play.

Travel? Yeah, sure. Keep crying:yaohappy:
-
Re: LeBron travelled twice in the last play..
Not even close to a travel. I'm not even sure he took all the legal steps available to him.
You need to be focusing this anger on Vogel, who appears to either be unacceptably arrogant or completely insane. Or, more likely, he just choked on one of the grandest scales ever for a head coach.
Seriously..
First he took a step before dribbling, then after dribbling he took 3 steps..

Re: LeBron travelled twice in the last play..
It's amazing that people AFTER seeing the replay write that it's not a travel.
First of all, he took an obvious first step before dribbling and he did it big time. Second of all, he took 3 steps after taking up the ball from the dribble.
How can a player take an amount of 4 steps from the 3 point line to the basket while only dribbling the ball once? How?
-
Re: LeBron travelled twice in the last play..
If that's a travel the NBA would blow up.

Re: LeBron travelled twice in the last play..
He shuffled his feet before he caught the ball. Watch the damn video!
Section XIV-Traveling
a. A player who receives the ball while standing still may pivot, using either foot as the pivot foot.
b. A player who receives the ball while he is progressing or upon completion of a dribble, may use a two-count rhythm in coming to a stop, passing or shooting the ball.
The first count occurs:
(1) As he receives the ball, if either foot is touching the floor at the time he receives it.
(2) As the foot touches the floor, or as both feet touch the floor simultane- ously after he receives the ball, if both feet are off the floor when he receives it.
The second occurs:
(1) After the count of one when either foot touches the floor, or both feet touch the floor simultaneously.
c. A player who comes to a stop on the count of one may pivot, using either foot as the pivot foot.
d. A player who comes to a stop on the count of two, with one foot in advance of the other, may pivot using only the rear foot as the pivot foot.
e. A player who comes to a stop on the count of two, with neither foot in advance of the other, may use either foot as the pivot foot.
f. In starting a dribble after (1) receiving the ball while standing still, or (2) coming to a legal stop, the ball must be out of the player's hand before the pivot foot is raised off the floor.
g. If a player, with the ball in his possession, raises his pivot foot off the floor, he must pass or shoot before his pivot foot returns to the floor. If he drops the ball while in the air, he may not be the first to touch the ball.
h. A player who falls to the floor while holding the ball, or while coming to a stop, may not gain an advantage by sliding.
i. A player who attempts a field goal may not be the first to touch the ball if it fails to touch the backboard, basket ring or another player.
Learn the f*cking rules

Re: LeBron travelled twice in the last play..
It's very disturbing that posters are saying it wasn't a travel. Read the rules and watch the replay in slow motion.
-
Re: LeBron travelled twice in the last play..
Millwad.. arent you a houston fan? Harden does the same shit. So does Wade. So do most great slashers. They just make it look smooth so they get away with it.

You're either blind or a troll. Watch the replay, pause it right before LeBron receives the pass, and then again right after. Both of his feet are PLANTED.

Yeah, I call out Harden for it as well.
Harden doesn't do it as frequently and so obvious but he's travelling as well and I even started a thread about it in the beginning of the season.

Bro i'm getting tired of these heat haters making up shit. delusional ****s always complaining
-
Re: LeBron travelled twice in the last play..
You can technically take 20 steps with one dribble if you're quick enough to do so in the correct catch/dribble/gather manner. There is no rule about number of steps/number of dribbles.
Until I see a replay that shows otherwise, that wasn't close to a travel. Trust me, I'd say it if I saw it.
-

What in the name of god are you talking about?
He clearly had the ball in his hands before taking his first step, he took a massive first step without dribbling. A "shuffle", really?
And just to make it clear for you, he took 4 steps and he only dribbled the ball once, there's no situation in basketball where that is possible without a travel.
