The Olympics did a great job with Lance Armstrong.
And Carl Lewis. And the current crop of Jamaican sprinters. No way they're clean.

This is why you're such a huge dumbass.
:lol
Well, at least we know Carmelo's puggy ass isn't abusing.
But in all seriousness if Olympics would have caught star players by now from juicing. They don't **** around with that shit and David Stern can't protect them.
Where do people come up with this myth?

The Olympics itself says it CANNOT test for any designer PEDs. It does NOT test for designer PEDs.
I have already broke news on this. You guys are one week late. The mods thought to delete my thread.

talk to me when you start playing professional basketball or know anyone who plays professionally.Cause i know many people that do or are on the way to do so and they start them from college nowdays. My brother is a chemist and he was at the 2004 Olympics anti-doping control,They caught a 16 year old girl that had used so many PDEs that they called her parents to warn them she might not live many years if she keeps going at this rate

Let's just say it straight out, kblaze and realmenweargreen deleted it. Those two just never stop.
Kobe is a far more likely candidate for PED use than LeBron James is. Same with Metta. You just don't recover from injury like that without help. Not that I have a problem with, I believe it should be legal, but there's more curious things about Kobe than LeBron when it comes to speculation.
I'm 100% sure players like lebron, kobe and wade take hgh. How is kobe supposed to recover so fast?
I'm 100% sure players like lebron, kobe and wade take hgh. How is kobe supposed to recover so fast?
Injury time table was set 6-9 months for his injury. He got injured in April. If he returns opening night that would be 7 months it took him to recover. Its not like he blew his Achilles then returned the following month. :confusedshrug:
At this point I have accepted all pro and high level amateur athletes dope.
This.
You'd have to be retarded to honestly believe the NBA and all other pro sports are clean.

here comes the witchhunt.
Will the NBA even care to try to find who?
well lets see mlb had their scandal
Obvious big stars with question marks
Rafeal Nadal,LeBron James,Dwight Howard,JJ Redick,Griffin, alot of UFC stars,A huge lot of NFL players
I mean 300 pound linemen running 4.5 40s,jumping 40 inches,Adrian Peterson,Athletes gaining 15-20 pounds of muscle in a span of couple of months(regardless what you call it,bulking putting on weight, thats beyond incredible and suspicous)
Those extremely quick healing times from major injuries,
MWP came back in 3 weeks what would have taken several months
Manny Pacquiao you dont go up in weight, somehow get faster, stronger, and increase your power and then on top of that deny stricter and random drug tests(thats beyond suspicion)
There are probably a crapload of athletes using that haven't gotten caught
Lance Armstrong went 15 years without getting caught,Marion Jones was leaving people in the dust for years,
The top 4 Jaimacans besides Usain were all busted and hes way faster
Over 85% of cyclists have gotten busted for using
There are billions of dollars at stake here, money talks
It took Oprah, hundreds of lawyers, over a decade, hundreds off testimonies and people to catch Armstrong
There are way bigger stars than Armstrong who might be using and the ones that are,its going to take a whole hell of a lot to find them
the ones they do catch will end up having serious implications on the league and other sports

Melo's ped's must have gone to his ass.
people that say this crap, are in denial.
Denial of what? We've reached the point where nobody is free of suspicion. Saying "every athlete is on PED's" may be an exaggeration, but it's not far fetched to assume the PED users outnumber the clean. Personally, I say let them use whatever the hell they want. Athletes have been putting things in their bodies to gain an edge since the beginning of modern athletics. The PED controversy is largely a media creation. It snowballed after Mark McGuire was discovered using andro while breaking the HR record. Players had been using PED's for years but that's when the media decided to run with the story.
The NBA should be actively trying to find out who Bosch is talking about and how strong the evidence he can provide is. The names are going to come out anyway, they might as well get ahead of it.
And Carl Lewis. And the current crop of Jamaican sprinters. No way they're clean.
lewis was clearly dirty
During the Jonson-Lewis races,BOTH OF THEM TESTED Positive
The Americans swept Lewis's results away while they were trying to catch every star not from the US
Back in the 60s,70s,80s a lot of countries were using and their stars,Americans for sure but they were sweeping a lot of their test results away
The Russians got caught, but the Americans at that time were developing even stronger peds than the Russians to one up them, and theyve been succeeding by any means necessary
The sport of cycling alone had over so many ped users, they couldnt even give the medal to the next place finishers and they didnt know who to give it to after they stripped Armstrong so they left the winners vacant.

For a guy that is 6ft 8 with good genetics, that sort of build is not unattainable at all, especially for someone who has been training for 10+ years with great coaches etc.
All this proves is that you've never worked out a day in your life.

Just countering a stupid defense.
Anyway, James is on PED. Period.
You know it, I know it, everyone knows it.
But I thought PEDs and steroids make you more injury prone? :lol
I know you're joking but they can in some ways. For instance my friend ( a pro baseball player) ripped his hamstring off of his hip. This was from lifting too much weight and is an injury often associated with steroids. In other words, it doesn't happen to many people who aren't juicing because they aren't strong enough to lift a weight that could cause this to happen. Of course they are used for recovery too but they can lead to quirky injuries like that.
How is that "cheating"? Whats suspicious about it? These guys get paid multi million dollar deals. Fans like you bash them for being overpaid, making too much, should take a paycut as you play mega millions in hope you one day can strike it rich. Yet guys are rushing back from injury faster than expected and people are alarmed? Maybe he should sit out the entire season like Bynum. Wait then you'd be bashing him like you did Derrick Rose who took this path.
You fans cant have it every way.
I am a runner and follow professional tack and field which is another sport rife with PED abuse. I also know people who play or played in the NFL, NBA and MLB. Coming back from an injury like Kobe's is extremely suspicious if he's able to do that in that timeframe at his age. It just is. HGH, which they don't test for in the NBA could help you do that in that time for sure. I'm not saying that he's doing that but based on what I know from the athletes whom I know personally, it's definitely a strong possibility. I'm not saying this as an indictment of Kobe personally, I'm saying that it should raise eyebrows like a dude with cancer winning the tour de france or Clemens pitching 95 mph at 40. It's unlikely that it would be possible.

I'm not even saying anyone is clean. I am saying if you want to launch accusations you better have something better than someone says some guy picks something up for a guy that has different initials than the guy I am accusing.

You do know that you can fail to show up for a random blood test up to 3x right? The amount of time that the NBA players are in the Olympics, they'd be gone by then.
Victor Conte said you'd have to want to get caught, if the Olympic committee caught you.
Wade's jaw is definitely a side-effect.
Post a photo of you as a teenager. Then as a grown ass man.
He's a pro athlete. They have state of the art facilities, doctors, physicians, trainers some even personal. Own chefs. Yeah its hard to fathom anyone as a broke teenager getting bigger as they grow and are exposed to such things.
You're just as dumb as Magic_32 to defend him.
He posted a picture of 17 year old LeBron to a 27/28 year old LeBron. What kind of ****ing conclusive evidence can you get from that that determines he's taking steroids?
Just countering a stupid defense.
Anyway, James is on PED. Period.

By making a stupid counter? Good idea.
My point was that using an eye test is a terrible way to determine PED use, especially when you compare a teenager to a grown man with years of training.
I'm doubting your use of evidence, not your claim.

I wouldn't be surprised if guys like LeBron were using steroids but honestly I don't really care. If someone told me I could take a pill or a shot and guarantee myself millions of dollars I would be a fool to say no. These guys are professional athletes and this business is extremely competitive. That leads me to believe most if not all players would be willing to take the risks associated with performance enhancing substances to gain an edge on the competition. Don't underestimate what people will do for money, prestige, and fame.
Denial.
Again, denial of what? I acknowledged that many if not a majority of athletes are using something, but I also said that people claiming they ALL use is an exaggeration. You may not share my opinion that the controversy is largely media driven or that athletes should be allowed to use PED's, as I may be in the minority there. However, it's safe to assume that a lot of athletes who would never garner suspicion are in fact using (ie Rashard Lewis). My main point is that no one is above suspicion.
Stern will not mention LeBron and Dwyane Wade. He's gonna protect them and his product.
I hear what you're saying. I cant argue otherwise or really disagree that it could raise suspicion. I guess my point is I wouldnt care if someone like Kobe cheated to get back on the court faster after suffering an injury. I dont know enough about PEDs, HGH and so forth to go any deeper. Which is why I would like outside the lines or someone to attempt to educate the ignorant fan like myself. I dont look at an athlete different or lesser if they found ways to recover faster.
At least we know the WWE is clean.
