The blackout thing is US only I believe, so it's definitely better there.
Quality wise, I have a hard time believing their numbers, at best they should be equal to LP (but maybe for technical reasons, LP limits slightly the quality stream, nevertheless they're both great 720p).
So yeah, I'm not sold and you always the risk of shutdown.

idk. from what i hear it's not on LP either.
I talked to the site Admin last night (billy) in their webchat. Those games not streaming for those teams will stream during the regular season...
Also to give you an idea of the site. They've been doing hockeystream.com the same exact way for 6 years and haven't had any issues with the site being taken down.

So far everything has worked for me, except for the game chat. Which I don't really care about. Other than that the actual stream and DVR work. I was also able to stream through VLC, but it was choppy for me because my crappy laptop can't handle the resources VLC uses when streaming/decoding.
I'm testing it out for a week. So far all 4 streams last night fully worked on SD and HD quality. All the archives were real-time pretty much so I could go back and watch the beginning of the game when it was 5 minutes into the game already.

I wish I could've discovered this site before I spent 200$+ on LP. The streaming is better, plus its waaay cheaper.

FYI no streams today. The games today are not being televised locally or on TV, you can only possibly watch them on LP without sound/commentators. I asked the Admins about this and they told me during the regular season this wouldn't be an issue since all games are televised, it's just that some pre-season games aren't available.

I asked about this, it's because it's pre-season and not all games are fully televised. It won't be an issue during the regular-season.

If this week works out fine I'll probably be getting the 6 month deal on Oct 29 or 30th when the Cavs first game is and that'll last through until end of April, if the Cavs make the playoffs I'll get the 1 more deal afterwards probably. Which will last from late April until end of May. By that time those NBA playoff games Conference Finals or Finals will be national TV ABC I think.
Are the TNT/ESPN games streamed as well? I'm going to be out of the country and would like to catch those, which LP doesn't offer.

From speaking with the Admin, he told me every single regular season game will be streamed and playoffs. Some of the pre-season games aren't streamed just because they're pre-season and they aren't televised.

i signed up and checked out a couple of the on demand games on my roku
quality was just like i was watching it on an hd cable box. much better than the quality of games i watched on my roku from LP last season.
