My thoughts exactly, this next off season will be crazy and unpredictable but I actually think it's more likely the Lakers will get the 8th seed than miss the playoffs entirely. It seems like a fair bet, but Kobe said that he'll get revenge which sounds like he's saying the Lakers will win it all, so Colin could have taken advantage and set up a more favorable bet for himself by betting that the Lakers won't reach the second round.

sometimes I wonder if Kobe's just playing politician or if he really believes the stuff that he says.

EDIT: cuz if he wanted a real chance at revenge he should have taken a pay cut. Still have nothing but love for the mamba, just disappointed about our chances for next year.
