My goodness :lol
Not sure who to choose
ISH now bump 2014 threads just to keep this place "seems alive"
Tough decision...I say Kevin Love.
???:facepalm
Kevin Love for sure when he was in MIN.
AD does a lot, and he actually shows up better stats in the playoff, swept the Blazers 4-0 easily.

Kevin Love led a team with ricky rubio and pekovic as his "star" teammates to 40 wins while poasting a 120 ORTG. which is magic nash level.
He was probably more active at getting his teammates involved than AD was.
Of course Davis was a better defender.
Theyre both stock all NBA all star type players, not transcedant, but very good nonetheless.
i will admit Davis at his peak looks like a superstar top 5 guy.
a lot of that blazers sweep wasnt on AD. it was on jrue and the crew showing up and balling out btw.
its amazing how crushed they got by golden state. AD was pathetic in that series. And houston in the next round almost beat them with Harden.
Playing with Rubio was one of the reasons Love put up such crazy numbers in Minny. A point guard that doesn't shoot and loves setting up the PnR and PnP? That's the perfect situation for him.
That's why I always wanted to see him paired up with Wall.

So then why couldn’t Love lead Colin Sexton, Garland, Tristan Thompson to 40 wins in the weaker East the last 2 seasons?
He couldn’t even lead them to 20 wins either season

i agree rubio is underrated.
but as far as "star" help goes.. he's quite weak.
This thread has an obvious LBJ agenda. Imagine Love with... prime dwayne wade. Would he not be "set up" like a lowly rubio could do him?

Sure, but a lot less sets would be designed to spring Love for a shot. He would get less shots because Wade is going to shoot more out of the PnR.
Rubio is weak star help for sure. If you have those T-Wolves Tyson Chandler instead of Pek, and an athletic all-star wing (even like a Richard Jefferson level guy), that's a really good team.

Past rep
AD is a great defender. Love is horrendous.
/thread
Ad is better.

I love that you made this thread and LeBron won a Championship with both of them as his #2 option. You're a true gem.
Lebron James as he won bronze medals twice for America.

Anthony Davis. Kevin Love was the heart and soul of the 2016 championship Cavs.
