Embarrassment? We made 4 finals in 4 years.
At the end of the day, it's basketball, you can't take it too seriously. Otherwise Laker fans wouldn't be talking shit with how they're going. Or maybe it is because it's taken too seriously... I'm not sure.
Veteran All-Stars: Wade, Deng, Bosh
High potential rookies: Ennis, Napier, Hamilton
Veteran role players: Williams, McRoberts, Anderson, Cole, Chalmers, Granger.
We're still.... STACKED
Everyone gets the ball no longer a one man show
Spurs of the east
God I love my team
Lebron's impact is so powerful he can turn stans into Cavs fans just by going to the team :oldlol:
fixed
I knew they'd be great this year, but with a disclaimer, when healthy.
People know how good Bosh can be, and there is plenty of talent on this team. Wade and Bosh alone, would've been the best team in the East the past few years, but will Wade stay healthy? Hopefully.

I think this years team might be similar but better.
Won't make it past the first round tho
When you consider the Heat added 2 all stars to their team and a big man, along with Napier this start of theirs is anything but impressive
2 superstars (Bosh, Wade)
2 additional all stars (Deng, Granger)
Birdman, Napier, Chalmers, Cole, McRoberts, solid role players
Anything less than 55 wins would be a failure
it is a testament to how lebron makes his teammates worse that bosh and wade look better than they have in years as soon as lebron leaves
suddenly bosh is in the mvp conversation and wade looks like a top flight sg
but before the return to cleveland, they were washed up. wade was done, bosh was just a soft shooter who couldn't do anything
and then "snap" now they are stars again 3-0 :lol

Are you really calling Danny Granger an All Star with a straight face? This is 2014, not 2008.

when u put it that way, Bran's 2/4 performance with the heat is even less impressive :confusedshrug:
Wade was far more likable before the collusion:applause:
Bosh got no respect when hes arguably the best PF right now and top10 all time for PFs:applause:
its great to see team ball, not one person dominating the ball and reducing his teammates into spot up shooters, limiting and hurting their talents making them worse
its a pleasure to watch the Heat GOAT and Bosh do their thangs and seeing Cole and Chalmers play great and develop for once:applause: :applause:
They never stopped being stars. You just don't know basketball enough to look past the numbers.

If the cavs lost to the heat in the playoffs would it be worse than 2011?
If the cavs lost to the heat in the playoffs would it be worse than 2011?
Way worse
Way worse
I'm getting a hard on just thinking about it. The Lebron bashing that summer that occurred that summer made ISH amazing
If it's March, and Wade still holding up good, I will say that the 2015 Heat can most certainly win 54 games.

Man, I loved that team. Wade was a PG then which he essentially is this year too. After getting off to a horrendous start they were one of the best teams in the league after the allstar break and damn near made the ECF. They were a scrappy group of versatile players and a lot of fun to watch.
I would've done the Shaq trade over and over given the known result(plus being able to dump Brian Grant's contract), but I truly believe that team could've done damage in the East in 2005 and 2006 as well.

No doubt, I agree on both points. The probably don't win a title without Shaq, but that group with an emerging Wade would have been a force in the east.

These dudes are playing like its the playoffs right now, trying to prove that they weren't good just because of Lebron.
Give it a few months...they'll be worn out and will start losing. And Wade will probably get injured again as usual.

Probably, but when they try they are winning so. Just rest and win in the playoffs.

This is a new team running a new system, and it's shown in some sloppy play. They are going to get better as the season goes on. At the moment they're showing potential to be a fantastic passing team.
edit: and Miami are hardly 'playing like its the playoffs': they have played two low pick rookies important 4th quarter minutes, are utilising a 10-deep rotation, and oh, Wade & Deng are playing less than 32mpg and Bosh 36.7.
