I'm pretty sure Love would leave max money on the table, teammates like Lebron and Irving, the weak east to go play with Randle + some for now unnamed free agents who may or may not sign and leave their teams and sign with the Lakers. All that after making the playoffs for the first time in his career.
Sure buddy, sure. Sounds super reasonable.
1) Play for lifelong favorite team near friends and family with no expectations.
2) Play in ****ing Cleveland with a diva and be blamed for every loss by said diva's fans.
Let's just say, we'll see what happens.

Why would there be no expectations? I thought it was "championship or bust" every year with the Lakers?

Lebron hides in the corner as usual
The weather in Cleveland is terrific. I wouldn't to live there
He should play for the Bulls. Gasol is only getting older
If Durant leaves, he's going to the Wizards
I just can't see Love leaving the Cavs anytime soon unless they underacheive. Or if he feels he's being taken for granted. He's in a great situation where a legend like Bron is a pass first superstar. Kyrie is a beast and still not even close to his peak years. His offensive game fits perfect with Bron and Kyrie. Plus he has a lot bigs up front to help him with the dirty work.
Oh please. Love was flattered that LeBron wanted him. He aint going anywhere. Dude was sick of losing and he is on a good team now. He was in LA for college. Lakers are rebuilding and Love has even stated he wants in the playoffs. Lakers are not in the playoffs this year and I doubt next year either. The Cavs know what is going on with the CBA. Lebron aint going anywhere either. Could u imagine the public backlash after all this coming home stuff? His circle would never allow it. Bottom line is, I just dont see Love leaving us next year. Only the Lakers would trade to get a star in the last year of his contract and then lose him.

LA is a superior city than Cleveland.
The fact that they are going through some tough times and the polar vortex is coming would make Kevin loves decisiveness understandable
He's gonna leave cuz LeBron is gonna leave too.
Can't wait to see how Love flourishes in Byron Scott's "no threes" system.:applause:
I don't see him leaving but it would not be the strangest thing to happen... (Lebron).
I can't see him leaving. He'd be ditching a contender to return to a team similar to the one he left. If anything he should go back to Minn and take those guys to the finals. At least it'll be his team.
He will leave Cleveland eventually. Not after one year lol
If they lose 2nd round (which I think is a strong possibility) and Lakers are a surprise team that fights hard in the 1st round I could 100% see him leaving LePassive for greener pastures.

Why would he go down low against Anthony Davis? Love has been getting a lot of post touches recently, just not this game because his 3pt shooting was needed more.

[B]Yea, because he was being guarded by AD every possession right? Best to take it to the perimeter against a dude like Davis, I agree, but how about when Anderson was guarding him and Kyrie just looked for his own shot as usually? How about when Jrue (I believe) picked him up on a switch and Bron just dribbled his way to a somewhat contested 3? So on... 3 was falling plus Irving was on and even got plenty of assists (and Bron was getting his too, that's more likely though) and they got the W, but how about when that all doesn't go as well? Happened before though, so... James took 17 shots and (most importantly) Kyrie took 21 - that's "good" and the "norm" for Bron though, as he got to the line a lot also - while Love only took 13 and 9 of them were 3's.
Like I've said, better hope for big success and that the outside shot is falling more often than not.

I'd welcome the two in the back. Don't want the fragile glass ankles up front though.
Here's a video that should end this silly speculation (for now, at least.) Skip to the 1:00 mark and tell me if that looks like a man who wants to leave the Cavs.
edit: forgot the link like a dumbass

Love wants to win, not be Laker nations whipping boy when the team underachieves due to Kobe's ball hogging ways. Pau thought he could handle it, but even a beta like him has his limits. :oldlol:

What is there to do in LA besides sit in traffic, breathe in some smog or join a violent gang at an early age?

Love knew what he was getting into when he came to Cleveland. There will be games when he gets lots of touches, and games when he doesn't. Coming to Cleveland to play with Bron and Kyrie wasn't about continuing to get his stats and chuck when he wants to in the hopes that it translates to a win. The three of them have a clear goal in mind...getting stats is likely not one of those goals.

I'm actually curious. I always hear people talk about how great it is out there, how many things there are to do but no one ever lists anything. They just say there's nothing to do in Cleveland. Well what do you guys do out there other than go to the beach?

Rondo + Love on the LAL would fit well.
It’s not going to get as much discussion during the season, but one of the biggest issues for the Cavs is that both LeBron James and Kevin Love own opt outs after this season. LeBron James basically cannot afford to go anywhere after his return to Cleveland. But watch out for Love. Indications are he will seriously consider the opt out and has his eyes on a return to Los Angeles, where he attended college and where the Lakers long have had him on their free agent wish list ...
hahaha Kobe fans are getting dellusional because their will be a lottery lock this season, hallucinating about K Love...
Sorry Laker fans, looks like these two are already in love (no pun intended) with each other. This is the kind of chemistry that lasts a lifetime. The only reason Love would be coming to Cali is to get gay married to his boy Bron. Not that there's anything wrong with that.
