Yeah it comes out September 1st. I'm guessing he got it at a store that broke street date. Going to mom and pop shops is a good way to get games early.

Played everything in this series up through Snake Eater and loved all of them. Kojima tells a f*cking great story.

Its my hope that someday the series will make its way to the PC but I'm not holding my breath. I'm not interested in buying a PS3 or PS4 when my rig does everything that those machines do, but better.

I'll definitely be picking it up, but it might not be right away.

i beat peace walker today. if any of you haven't played it, i'd really recommend it, just because so much of it is carrying over to the phantom pain. it's just as important as the numbered titles imo.

just got back from the gym now, so im gonna finally start ground zeroes! i was surprised to find out chico and paz are in it, after looking up the mission objective on wikipedia.

so excited to play it.

never realized this, but ocelot is actually the boss' son. don't know how i didnt catch that in snake eater. explains why he has such a high ranking position at his age in the game.

makes the big boss - ocelot friendship/rivalry even better.

I might trade in Madden 16 and get this game.
For some reason just am not into sports game lately.

Only game that's on my mind is MLB The Show 15. But honestly, it's easily the best out of the bunch with FIFA 2nd and NBA 3rd.

NHL & Madden need major re-hauling efforts. They used to be the cream of the crop in terms of sports game but have hit the bottom of the barrel the last decade or so. :facepalm

EA games have too many buttons. There idea to revamp passing including MORE button pressing. It's not intuitive so it's not as much fun. They need to redo the controls and they never well.

I never liked MLB the Show but I play a lot of power pro/baseball spirits. They are japanese games (so no US rosters) but the gameplay is ridiculous, takes a big crap on any american baseball game. Deep but fun.

I think the only reason why people rated this so high is because of the cool features like being able to attach a balloon to anything, having a sidekick dog, or having an iPod in game to play music

It's a visually pretty game, and jampacked with content

But at the core of the game, it is hollow

It's everything I hoped it would be. I'm up to mission 5 and did a side op. I've been pretty smooth so far. I'm getting in and out of places without being detected, but I know it will probably get harder.

People weren't kidding about Big Boss not speaking much. Dude barely talks, but it's badass when he finally does say something. Kiefer Sutherland kills it.

Also, make sure you listen to the tapes. There are some important details in them. They automatically unlock after completing missions.
