Op needs to lookup the def I option of an elimination game.
Last time I checked, in ACTUAL "must win" playoff games...
Lebron 31.8 ppg, Jordan 31.3 ppg, and Wilt 31.1 ppg.
BTW, Chamberlain played in 23 absolute "must win" playoff games, but in his "must win" and "series clinching games", he played in 37 (24-13 W-L), and averaged 29.9 ppg, 26.1 rpg, 4.2 apg, and on a .546 FG%.
Ok. But I was not talking about that.
I was talking about the OP putting up two games to prop his hero in the first post. Elimination means win or go home. Game 4s aren't that.
He didn't even use his own criteria.

There's a reason why people are used to seeing lebron walk off the court with the confetti and streamers being the colors of his opponent.

Agreed.
BTW, I would prefer using TOTAL elimination games in these arguments (adding must win games with series clinching games.)

There's a reason lebron is considered a top 3 player and Wilt isn't! :lebronamazed:
26 ppg > 18 ppg:applause:

BY WHOM?
The CLOWNS at ESPN????
Maybe you can share with all of us here just who was on that "panel of experts."
I'll help...
The self proclaimed ESPN expert panel consisted mostly of online editors and a few writers.

Secondly, in 1999, ESPN's "panel of experts" came out with their 100 greatest athletes of the 20th Century. Interesting, though in the NBA department, that Wilt came in second behind MJ (no surprise, since MJ had just come off a title run and retired.) With Magic 3rd, Russell 4th, and Kareem 5th.
So, what has taken place in the last 17 years? Did Kareem come back and score some more points? Hell no.
What this means, of course, is several things. One,... a completely different panel.
Two, probably 95% of this "panel" never saw Wilt, nor Russell play, and likely did not see a peak KAJ play, either.
Three, they certainly couldn't go off of Wilt's footage, since only 2% of it exists on film, and very little of that in his prime. And clearly they did not RESEARCH the Wilt-era, either. Because, in the last 17 years we have even MORE evidience suggesting Wilt's overwhelming dominance.
4. Kareem played four years IN the Wilt-era, and never approached his records, nor his domination (including playing against the same centers in their primes), nor even his winning (Wilt went to three Finals in those four years, and KAJ to one.)
5. KAJ was a FAR bigger CHOKER in his post-season career, than Wilt was in his. Of course, having MAGIC for 10 seasons completely changed his image...from a underachieving choker, to a six time champ. Hell, he even got credit for a ring in a Finals in which he did everythiing he could to lose.
So, how did Kareem leap-frog Russell, Magic, and then Wilt...in the last 17 seasons? Simple...this "panel of experts" had no clue.
BTW, we already know two other things. One...ESPN has CATERED to Lebron in his career. And two, they have shown absolutely no knowledge of Chamberlain's career.
How about this remartkable example...
http://bleacherreport.com/articles/2011389-kevin-durant-within-striking-distance-of-michael-jordan-record
Not even ONE mention of the FACT that Chamberlain held the record, and by a HUGE margin (126 straight games.)
So we already know that ESPN doesn't have any knowledge of the game of basketball before MJ. NONE.
Lebron at #3???
A complete JOKE, and a slap in the face of not only Wilt, but Magic, Russell, Shaq, and Duncan.

Tl;dr
Too bad for you that LeTHICK is top 3 while Wilt is not.
Maybe because lebron is a 26 ppg finals scorer while Wilt is only an 18 ppg:lol
Or a 28 ppg playoffs scorer while Wilt is only a 22 ppg playoff scorer:lol
What a choker.

3 inches yet still averages more points in playoffs and finals than your hero.
This while being a playmaker :lebronamazed:
