Harden is the best player in the NBA

His vision and ability to key in on the major areas of his game that need improvement to come back better than ever in order to be a true winner are commendable. listen you can't tell me you don't see defenders walk away when he drives a LOT. The amount of times I see him get a quarter step on his defender and they just kinda shadow him to the rim only to walk away is crazy. His ability to draw fouls is one of his best skills because it's not just the ft's he gets out of it, it's the psycological impact it has on defenders

This and the era he's playing in. All harden has to do is beat his initial defender (who's not allowed touching him btw) and he has a free trip to the lane. Kobe had tonseal with multiple defenders who were allowed to be way more physical.

Harden is no Kobe. He'll never be a champion and he'll never be on a first defensive team.

The funny thing about Harden is he's not the best player in the NBA.

No one was better last year and no one individually played the Warriors better than Harden.

These are facts.

Harden doesn't post up or shoot 1 to 2 dribble pull ups from mid range. If he added this to his game, he would be a bigger threat when certain things are taken away from him offensive.

But I guess all the playoff choking hasn't given him the brains to improve this area of his game.

Harden is a great scorer and takes advantage of the rules today. But the best player in the NBA? Nah

As of the 2019 playoffs, Kawhi Leonard is the best player in the NBA.

No one played better to n the meaningless regular season maybe. Kawhi was better for n the playoffs. Pretty much the same offensive impact but way more impactful on the defensive end.

Harden barely cracks top 10 in the league.

Even that is too much for someone who is a weak defender and has one move in his repertoire. Every other top 10 player checks more boxes than him. But he stuffs the sheet with unprecedented time on the ball and his freethrow antics, I guess its gotta count for something

Harden was better against the Warriors than Kawhi. Kawhi actually went to the free throw line more than Harden did in the postseason, and averaged 11 ft/g against the Warriors.

If Kawhi was in Harden's place last year, the Rockets might not have even made the playoffs because Kawhi only played 60 games...

Bump
