Mo Williams was an all star and he got eliminated by Dwight Howard and Rafer Alston, who in turn got spanked by Kobe (Magic even got their All-Star pg Jameer Nelson back who missed the ECF with the Cavs)

Ummm that is exactly the opposite of what I said happened. The NBA made sure to have another all-star on a 40-11 team. It wasn't about fielding the best team, its was about having an "all-star" next to him.
