Would you call these Iranians white or brown? :lol
Certainly, they are not black.
They usually call themselves brown if they're the woke type.
Iranians are not one ethnic group, but many, there are persians, arabs, tajiks, kurds, pashtuns etc.
Many iranians are definitely "white", but many are also "brown".

Iranians, I believe, are considered 'Non-Hispanic White' according to the most recent US census from 2020. Here's some information about it from Wikipedia:
White American, European American, or Middle Eastern American: those having origins in any of the original peoples of Europe, the Middle East, or North Africa. Following consultations with Middle East and North Africa (MENA) organizations, the Census Bureau announced in 2014 that it would establish a new MENA ethnic category for populations from the Middle East, North Africa and the Arab world. However, this did not occur on the 2020 Census.

So, technically they're 'white' in a government sense; but socially? Absolutely not. They're distinctly Middle Eastern. But even then, that's quite a broad brushstroke to paint. Like you said, there's various different ethnic groups within Iran; and Iran is distinct from the other ME countries.
Why Middle Easterners and North Africans have been grouped with Europeans is due to an outdated anthropology racial taxonomy/classification.
The Caucasian race (also Caucasoid or Europid) is an obsolete racial classification of human beings based on a now-disproven theory of biological race. The Caucasian race was historically regarded as a biological taxon which, depending on which of the historical race classifications was being used, usually included ancient and modern populations from all or parts of Europe, Western Asia, Central Asia, South Asia, North Africa, and the Horn of Africa.

They were grouped together, largely because of 'phenotypically' similar features. Essentially they have common skull, face, and body features.
There's also some linguistic and cultural connections.
McGee bringing the interior presence. Nicely done.
Just like I said.
Xiao, where you at?
Like 99% of NBA fans in North America are either asleep right now, or don't have streaming access to view this game, or both.
I assume NBC will put the quarterfinals, semifinals and gold and bronze games on a normal channel.
I wouldn't assume that
Just like I said.

Iran :lol
Why the f*ck are these games not televised?
You could make a better tournament with 12 national teams that are not in the Olympics than this Olympic tournament.

Thanks for the data. White itself is a complicated classification with many tribes.

Who would be formidable besides Lithuania and Serbia?
Or Greece

No problem. Just keeping it real.
KD should’ve been playing the Four Man. Super stretch four man. If only he had more physicality to him. He’s still such a twig string bean. Play more McGee, which I said, not an All Star. But size and shot blocking. This team could’ve honestly used Dwight Howard as well.
