Please please let Angels make the playoffs. That would be so good for baseball.
The rotation will be key obviously. Thor needs to stay healthy
The Red Sox keep finding ways to lose games. Up 4-3 with 2 outs in the 9th and you lose 10-5 in 10 innings. You can't make this stuff up. :oldlol:
Mets had a dramatic 7 run 9th inning last night. Have had some special moments this year, making me think it could happen.

Angels rookie pitcher Reid Detmers just threw a no-no. Trout hit two bombs and has a wRC+ of 246 on the season. That's higher than Bonds' in 02
Angels are the most exciting team in sports.

Manny Machado is running away with the MVP already.

Nahhhhhh
Red Sox starting to get it together. 6 wins in a row and 10 in their last 13. They're getting the bat on the ball now.

As soon as you said this, losing 3-1 to the ChiSox rn but yeah, they gave us a whupping last night.

I know lol. I jinxed the hell out of them.
Acuna is finally getting his footing and the starting pitching IS legit, especially if Morton figures his shit out.
The Braves have the A's, Pirates, Nationals, and Cubs over the next couple of weeks while the Mets have Padres, Angels, Brewers, Marlins, and Astros. If they aren't careful this 8 game lead could turn to 5 pretty quickly. Then when can see what they're truly made of.
LOL @ The Angels. Poor Mike Trout stuck on that miserable team.

This aged well
:ohwell:
Anyone remember the Belli/Yeli MVP race in 2019? Both guys have been absolutely horrible since. So weird.
TheMan, explain to us what that senile Larussa did against the Dodgers yesterday :oldlol:.

Bruh, you're right, dude is legit senile :facepalm
The team has quit on him too but our owner is too damn loyal to can the great Tony LaRussa so we're stuck with him until he decides to go away
Reds owner Bob Castellini needs to sell the team.

Are you okay with a potential Reds moving out of Cincy that may come with the owner change?
Are you okay with a potential Reds moving out of Cincy that may come with the owner change?
I don't think that would happen. They are too entrenched in the community and with a modern stadium.
Yordan Alvarez killing it right now in the AL. I don't want to hear any more Ohtani for MVP crap just because he can pitch.

Judge is the favorite
Judge is the favorite
Ohtani after his 8 RBI game and 2 hitter is right there with Judge
Yea Shohei is closing on the MVP race heavily.
Thor has been effective, but he's not the pitcher I expected him to be. He struggles big putting hitters away when he gets to two strikes.
Ok Ohtani is the MVP. Jesus Christ.
Jays fire Charlie Montoyo. Kinda fair since Jays has dropped a lot of games lately, but still....
**** yeah Ohtani got rocked by the Bravos!
The Angels are such a miserable team though.
Jays 28-5 Red Sox
Sox are gonna win the central by 20 games this year. They are so much better than that division losing their 2 best SP's isn't enough to bring them back to the pack.
Can't believe how wrong I was here. They've had more than their share of injuries on the south side, but it still feels like a disappointment from an outsider's perspective.
It has been entertaining watching everyone on Twitter blame TLR though. Never liked that guy :lol
The Baltimore Orioles have signed top pick Jackson Holliday.
AP: "The 18-year-old high schooler and No. 1 overall pick in the 2022 MLB amateur draft signed a contract Wednesday with an $8.19 million signing bonus."

One of Matt Holliday's sons. All-star's descendants seems to be a trend now. Blue Jays have already been on it for awhile now.

Jackson Holiday literally looks like a child. I’m getting old.
ESPN.com: "The Houston Astros have acquired first baseman/outfielder Trey Mancini from the Baltimore Orioles in a three-team trade that also involves the Tampa Bay Rays, sources told ESPN's Jeff Passan on Monday. Besides Mancini, the Astros are getting right-hander Jayden Murray from the Rays, who are acquiring outfielder Jose Siri from Houston, sources said. The Orioles are receiving right-handers Seth Johnson (from the Rays) and Chayce McDermott (from Houston), sources said."

Sox have been highly disappointing, good thing I didn't order the entire season on MLB.TV, only went monthly :lol I canceled it since my Sox are a .500 team at best :(

Unfortunately for your team, AL East has been way too strong compare to the rest of the league this season. Even Orioles are getting pretty good nowadays.
