4 finals MVPs
only player to win a finals MVP over a 70-win team
only player to beat the spurs in the finals aka the only player with a finals MVP over pop
played the warriors and spurs 7 times and teammates often got injured like kyrie wade and love. 2007 finals was the most lopsided finals ever.

2007 most lopsided? Wasn't it close every game? Didn't those Spurs lose to a Kobe one-man team in the WCF in 5 the next year?

I guess you could argue that if you disregard the Cavs' defense that year but it's funny how it wasn't a blowout when Bran was all-time bad, given the most "lopsided" gap in talent in Finals history.

Well just look at the rosters. That’s where the talent gap comes. The 2-4 contributors in the finals for the Cavs were Gooden, Boobie, and Sasha Pavlovic. None of them would even be starters on the Spurs. Perhaps barely even rotation guys.
The games were close because the pace was slow and Lebron, despite shooting poorly, controlled that aspect and was excellent defensively.
The games being close doesn’t make the supporting cast better than they were.

Gasol put up 13 ppg & was borderline trash in 3 out of 5 games lmao. At least the Cavs held TD in check and dominated the offensive glass. Give the supporting cast & Mike Brown credit because it wasn't Bran keeping them close in that Finals or the ECSF in '08 when he was bricking everything & turning it over the first 4 games.

I’m not claiming they’re the greatest team of all time or anything. But they were a 60 win team with the #1 SRS in the league by a pretty decent margin. You’re “they’re old!” statement doesn’t work.
Drew Gooden and Sasha Pavlovic aren’t really going to cut it against that. If you remove Bron from the situation you know that’s like a 24 win team a best.

Yes it does. You could replace their 4-10 with the supporting players on the Cavs and they'd be a better team. Cavs won 50 games, had a top 4 defense and were 7th in SRS, so you're not talking about a bad team here.
Your excuse for these games being close despite Bran's terrible offense is that it was HIS defense that kept them in it, disregarding what Big Z, Andy V & Gooden did on the offensive glass. Andy V and Big Z split minutes so you're gonna make the dumb Bran stan argument of "how many Cavs averaged 10+ ppg!" and not even mention it...
You could pick either Big Z or Andy V and they'd be getting 25-30 mpg at the 5 easily as a starter in San Antonio. Heck, they had a 34 y.o Finley starting at the 2, you could easily give his minutes to Pavlovic.
Finley, Oberto, Elson, Horry & Barry weren't world-beaters by any metric.

Okay so let’s say the 4-10 were fairly equal or even a slight advantage to the Cavs. Wouldn’t the fact that the Spurs had an insanely superior 2-3 really make the difference?
It’s okay to admit that the 07 Cavs didn’t have a very good supporting cast. They were certainly scrappy but relatively untalented. When going against a team with a top 10 guy ever and 2 other HOFers all in their prime? Again...not really gonna cut it.

There wasn't that insane of a difference, just that Bran was no Kobe. You could make the same argument for the Lakers in '08 with 2 of their starters out & Pau not playing up to par but KB was unstoppable in those close moments no matter who you put in front of him. You can't just chalk shit up to Bran's supporting cast and absolve him of blame.

A historic/insane difference but they get outscored by just 6 pts a game with Bran putting up one of the worst series by a superstar in Finals history. Ok lol.
Oh & how are you going to defend the Cavs losing close games vs. Boston the following year? He went 2/18 with 10 TO and they lose by 4 on the road.. They win 2 at home with him putting up 21 ppg on 33%FG in Games 3 & 4. I guess it's just his individual defense & he had no one in Cleveland. What a joke.

The Cavs were literally a 1-man team lol. The 2 years before Bron came they won 24 and 30 games or something
The roster was one of the worst in NBA history at best and Bron took them immediately to the finals as soon as he arrived.
How can anyone even dispute that. He joined one of the worst teams in the NBA at that time and beat the best with that dumpster. Just look at all his teammates back then, they never made it anywhere else.
