Rumors are that Shedeur Sanders is sliding in this draft.
Fell out of the first round. lol
Pats took OL? Yikes
Why yikes? LT is far and away their biggest need.
I'm happy they didn't go with the flashy name like Jeanty. You take him, what offensive line is he running behind?
Commanders assembling the Hogs 2.0. This past season they had rookie 3rd rounder Coleman as their starting left tackle and he gave up a lot of sacks. They have traded for Tunsil to play LT and drafted Conely to play RT. Now they can move Coleman to guard where he belongs.
:applause:
We made wash and Dallas go OL. Heh heh heh
Fell out of the first round. lol
Rumors were there well before you posted. Not shocking he fell out of first rd. Still stupid as hell

I’m in the belief you go BPA over need drafting that high. While the position was a need you could’ve a Tackle later. Even in a trade up from 2nd rd.

If we went Dline you would have probably said it was because of the Eagles. :lol
Our GM said he was the highest guy on our board, that he wasn't targeting the oline.
Did I say how much I hate the draft format and miss the old way? I get it from a ratings standpoint but it was way more fun the old way. Rd 2 is going to be just as fun as rd 1.

Haha never thought of that but you’re probably right. Not a sexy pick but with Tunsil and this kid. Gotta protect the most important asset which is Daniels. Especially with eagles and now giants adding a stud rusher n Carter (with Thibs and Burns). NFC East should be fun
Sounds like every single person here - and no doubt every fan everywhere - thinks their team won the draft.
We had 30 future all-pros drafted yesterday, and 30 teams who completed their championship puzzle.
Congrats, boys!
Atlanta trading next year's 1st and the 46th pick to move to 26 was ridiculous. They gave up way too much.

Wait what? Wow lol that’s a lot. Their picks have to dominate for it to not look bad in hindsight.

Win the draft is a bit much. Happy with the prospect selected and their potential is more like it. There have been drafts I bashed the Eagles for their first rd picks. Passing up Justin Jefferson was criminal.

Ever since then Howie has focused on guys from big schools.

That's fair. This guy is specifically a LT, something we've been searching for for a few years now. Hopefully no more rotating guys like Mike Onwenu out to tackle anymore.
I like the way our line is shaping up with that pick. Hopefully day 2 and the weekend we focus on some skill guys and a pass catching RB.

Yeah yall definitely needed a LT. I meant to type that. Might end up being a great pick when it’s said and done. I won’t pretend I’m hitting perfect when it comes to draft prospects. Who do you want today for the Pats?
Finally saw a friend on Facebook saying Sanders is being blackballed by the NFL. I was wondering how long it would take for that to happen.
Maybe the guy who went 13-12 at Colorado isn't actually that good.

Theres no point bringin him in as a backup, because you know before Year 1 is over he and his father are going to start publicly undermining whoever the starter is. And the coach probably.
Youre just asking for a headache from the Sanders Circus. The kid isnt a blue chip, theres absolutely no incentive to put up with his and his dad's selfish attitudes and shameless antics.
Once the small handful of teams who might have even considered giving him and his dad the keys to the shop smartly passed, at that point theyre just poison. Teams are wise to not involve themselves with the nonsense.

Sounds like your dad played QB and Deion intercepted him with all the hate you’re spewing.

You got it backwards doggy.
Im just giving an honest analysis without an agenda.
Whereas youve got some emotional investment in the Sanders clan thats causing you to be very defensive about them.
Tyler Shough the 25 yes 25yr old QB went before Sanders. I’m to believe Sanders isn’t that good tho lol
He will be 26 in September btw. Great pick smh
Milroe a lousy passer went before Sanders bwahaha what a joke

Yeah just creating up this weird narratives out your ass. Do you throw shit against the wall hoping it sticks for a living? Seems that way.

You think what I said is some random narrative out of left field? Even you dont believe that :lol
What I said is the universally known book on the Sanders'. The fact teams are taking every other QB in the draft ahead of him is proof. The Sanders are perceived as being too insecure to be team oriented. Everything has to be about them or else they feel threatened.
Thats the FACT whether you like it or not mi amigo.
D.Gabriel went before Sanders. I’m to believe Sanders isnt that good. Hahaha

Sure Gobb.
All 30 teams seem to see it the way I do.
But you know better than me AND all the people who put their professional lives into this.
Youre the one who gets it.
Fair enough. :confusedshrug:
Is Sanders the first player to attend the draft in person and not get drafted by day 2? The worst draft slide I can recall before this is Rodgers. I'm not a huge draft buff, but I have to assume this is unprecedented.

30? Why not 32? And the fact you seem to think for nfl teams is hilarious. You got insider information? Or you’re a first ballot throw shit against the wall hall of Famer. That you feel entitled you know what you’re talking about? Even the people who follow football, the draft with legit sources are stunned. Shocked. And have no insight on the historical slide. But you? Awwww man you? You just nailed it like the 30 other teams. Some peon sittin at home with time on his hands just knows. Meanwhile folks draft pundits, sports analysts are still puzzled.
Like I said you’re just talking and hoping something sticks.

He didn’t attend the draft. There have been players who did go to the draft and were not selected rd 1.
And yes this slide is historical in nature. I can’t think of any prospect that fell this far in the draft. At this point who knows if he goes rd 4. Would not shock me if he didn’t.

Whatever you say GOBB. I wont argue it back and forth ad infinitum. You believe whatever it is youd like to believe. That's perfectly fine.

Just one question. Why 30 teams and not 32?
Just one question. Why 30 teams and not 32?
Hmmm. Because in typing a hasty response on my phone I mixed up the number of NFL teams with the number of NBA teams?
I guess you think that's some huge 'gotcha' 'checkmate'? :lol Damn, you got me Gobb. Now it's clear you know everything and I know nothing, bc I mixed up the number of NFL teams! :oldlol:
This is your moment Gobbster. Have at it.
I made a typo about the number of teams in the league. FEAST big fella! Go hog wild.
Damn, Fultz exposed big time, dude thought there were 30 NFL teams instead of 32 :oldlol:

Boys may have gotten a great player with pick #44
CB in the 3rd round fills a need too...
Tyler Booker may have been a reach at #12.... but I don't mind it.
We need a WR, RB, DT and we will be alright.
Oh.... and the Cowboys still need a backup at QB... Rush & Lance are gone.
I would f*cking love to have Shedure Sanders as the back up, and would not mind trading up to get him right now.
Damn, Fultz exposed big time, dude thought there were 30 NFL teams instead of 32 :oldlol:
I tried for a long time to deny it, but the cold hard truth is I'm simply a low IQ poster.
It's a tough pill to swallow at first. But I think I can finally be at peace with it.
Life goes on.
Shedeur Sanders' attitude and his father caused this. It's not a question of talent. It's a question of how much of a PR headache the front office wants to deal with in regards to Deion Sanders.
Just last month Deion already came out and said there were certain teams he wouldn't allow his son to play for if he was drafted there. Shedeur declined the combine. Didn't do any team interviews. The unprofessionalism oozes out the seams.
Everywhere Shedeur has went in his life to play Deion has followed and been right there. Do you think any NFL head coach wants to draft him only to have his dad breathing down your neck for a coaching job in a year or two? Or having his people contact your people about how your using his son in your own system?
Some people made it a race issue. Which is laughable. There were three teams that need a future NFL quarterback. The Raiders, Jets and Steelers. All of which have black NFL coaches who are heavily involved in the draft process. They all passed on him. Not only that, but there are a variety of black NFL head coaches and owners in the league. They passed on him too. Over 100 times in fact now as the count stands.
Teams simply don't want to deal with Shedeur's mentality which mirrors his father along with the persona of his father. If Deion Sanders wasn't so heavily involved with his son he would've gotten drafted or drafted higher. They needed to be humbled and we're watching that take place.

What’s the difference with Sandwrs mentality and Cam Wards? How about baker mayfield? Joe burrow? Hello? You there?
You actually think Deion Sanders would insert himself in his son’s career by acting like one of those pop Werner football dads? Those obnoxious parents? This is downright laughable you even considered this. The mannings literally dictated where Eli played. Did his dad follow his son and make sure he played. Made sure he was used right? This notion of “we had to humble them” is retarded. You didn’t have to humble any of the other prospects huh? None of them were cocky or arrogant.
This is a bad take. NFL teams all set out to show the Sanders who boss. Can’t bully us.
What’s the difference with Sandwrs mentality and Cam Wards? How about baker mayfield? Joe burrow? Hello? You there?
I was hoping someone like you would bring up those situations.
The main difference between Shedeur and those players is that those players had the accomplishments and game to backup their choices, mouth, baggage or whatever else you want to call it up until the draft at the time.
Mayfield? Heisman winner. First walk-on to do it. Holds various OK records. Went to the combine, showed a little professionalism.
Ward? Heisman finalists. O'Brien Award winner. Set school records for passing yard and TDs at Miami. Went to combine.
Burrow? Won a national championship and Heisman and passed for a record 60 touchdowns. Didn't need to go to combine, it would only hurt is stock if he measured low. His accomplishments speak for themselves.
I'll throw you another one out there. Johnny Manziel. Heisman winner. Went to combine. Showed some professionalism at the time. Obviously that didn't turn out so well for him in his NFL career. I'll get back to that later.
Shedeur? Close to nothing. He doesn't have the game or accomplishments to back up what he's doing and to have his dad be baggage. He even played with Heisman winner (Hunter) and couldn't do anything at Colorado with him.
Maybe teams just don't want to take a chance with someone like Sanders and his baggage with his lack of accomplishments and unprofessionalism and have him turn into another Johnny Manziel?
You actually think Deion Sanders would insert himself in his son’s career by acting like one of those pop Werner football dads? Those obnoxious parents?

Yes. Deion would insert himself because he's shown that's all he does and has done. NFL head coaches and owners don't want to deal with that headache. He's worse than the Mannings and those types of parents already. Eli again, had accomplishments and game to back up the baggage of his dad. Heisman finalist, Won the Cotton Bowl.
Jesus your takes are so bad. I got a headache reading that utter nonsense. I swear idiots make me nauseous.
What indication has Deion sanders shown he would insert himself into whatever franchise drafted his son? Give me examples. Not ASSumptions. Not throwing shyt against the wall hoping it sticks. Run down the things that SUPPORT this narrative. He’s been nothing but a professional in his career. When and where has he ever been a distraction that you can point too. His son literally has had one of the biggest slides in NFL draft history. And Deion Sanders has said what? Has done what? If he acted like Lavar Ball? You’d have a leg to stand on. You’d have your “see I told you” moment. But you don’t. You literally have nothing. So you sit there and type out what Deion has shown in his career that would be a distraction to an NFL team who drafts his so.
You clowns just make up stuff and run with it.
And the best narrative is “he has to be humble. Not cocky or arrogant.” It then justify players who are cocky and arrogant. Giving them hall passes to go to the bathroom. Hahahahaa
The best part of your nonsense “if Deion wasn’t the way he was”. What was he shythead? Because you just typed a bunch of nonsense JUSTFYING cocky and arrogance is ok if you accomplished things. Deion accomplished Hall of fame tier accolades. But you’re using it AGAINST him? Make your mind up idiot.
I love how insecure and soft “men” are when an athlete is cocky and arrogant. Says more about you than the actual athlete.
