If someone wants to take a chance on Jimmy Butler who has turned on every team he's ever been on, then yes, someone would take a chance on Morant.

Bane is -51 and he still had a better game than Kyle Kuzma.
Hell...Dame Lillard didn't even play in the game yesterday and got a tech and had a better game than Kuzma.

Re: (1) Thunder vs. (8) Grizzlies First Round Playoff Series Thread
Morant still has value is just not as high as it should be with his elite athleticism. But any team with an average point guard would be better with him. So long as he doesn't get a stupid ass suspension... which he is more likely to get than other players, which is why his value is damaged.

Can your Celtics play down to the Magic for a little bit so I don't fall asleep like I did on the Thunder game?

Re: (1) Thunder vs. (8) Grizzlies First Round Playoff Series Thread
Thunder are the real deal but this ass-kicking is partially due to Memphis firing the coach qqso late in the season.

His talent goes well beyond his athleticism. He has great creativity and finishing ability in general. He just hasn't put it all together.

Out of curiosity, why are people seeming hesitant to call it what it is with OKC? Not that this game confirms anything really..but net rating wise this is literally the best team in the history of basketball. And in a loaded West..
Not to say they’ll definitely win the title, but I was surprised to see almost no one picking them.

Easy.
Lack of experience. That’s about it.
And the concern that they may not have something to go to if SGA isn’t getting calls.
Mainly the experience though. I think they will do well and run into some issues down the way and end up losing. Then figure some things out and potentially nothing will be stopping them next year.
And I am pretty sure they are still Vegas favorites to win it all this year right?
I think it’s
OKC
Boston
Cleveland
Lakers
Warriors

Yea they are favorites but I was just talking about on ISH.
Idk I feel like last year was their slip up and then get hungry and better. They’re here now. I’d honestly be more surprised if they didn’t win the title than if they went like 16-3 in the playoffs.

I think it's pretty clear Presti is the best GM in basketball and he has been for a long long time.
I still don't think OKC gets it done this year but they should probably have a 10 year stretch of dominance coming up, barring injuries.
10 ****ing years this shit should last. Maybe more. How many picks do they still have? I know he amassed picks for years.
-
Re: (1) Thunder vs. (8) Grizzlies First Round Playoff Series Thread
OKC has a pick swap with Dallas coming up in 2028. That might be the first pick in the draft.

Jalen Williams will be a top 10 player within 3 years. He's insanely good and high IQ. Will have a Harden-esque emergence.
This team is a dynasty. They're winning 3 of the next 5 titles

Them and Boston are the favorites. Then there's 4 other teams that might be surprises (all on the West).

Go to a Boston game and still have to use binoculars, but pay at least 12 times the price at $140 minimum.

wtf, these are som every good prices?
Is this common?
Im paying ten fold for a tennis match at the French Open next month (and im not refering to the 12 dollar ticket).
These prices look like 2nd league football/soccer ticket prices.

It's because of Memphis' market and their odds of winning since they're down 0-2. If you go to Boston the same seats are like 12 times the price.
