Re: Wilt Chamberlain wilted under pressure in the playoffs and finals
Not even in the same ballpark as 2011.
You can't force somebody to be educated. All you can do is give them the tools. :confusedshrug:
Why wasn't it in the same ball park? At least provide your explanation.
Wilt was coming off blowing a 3-1 lead in 1968. He forms a superteam in the offseason and joins West & Baylor, 2 of the 5 best players in the league. He is a big favorite in the Finals against an aging Celtics team, then proceeds to get outscored by Don Nelson and lose the series despite having a teammate that averaged 38/5/7.
That is at least on par with 2011, and social media and this forum would have clowned Wilt if those things existed back then. Only difference is Wilt again pulls another choke the next season in 1970, while LeBron has a historic run in 2012.

Lebron scored 8 points in game four. ZERO points in the fourth quarter, and the game was razor close. Came down to the final seconds.
Worst. choke. job. in. the. history. of. the. sport.
Nothing Wilt ever did came close. Lebron wilted worse than Wilt. :lol

That's cute.
Wilt in the '69 Finals had a game where he scored 4 points, and two other games where he scored 8.

Re: Wilt Chamberlain wilted under pressure in the playoffs and finals
What gets forgotten in history is Jerry West stated after the '69 Finals that he would pick Bill Russell over Wilt Chamberlain for a single game. Wilt was his own teammate. :oldlol:
Can you imagine if D-Wade said something similar about LeBron in 2011? We would never hear the end of it.
I don't blame West, imagine having the greatest NBA Finals series ever to that point only to lose because of a big choker like Wilt.

Imagine how many rings Wade would have if he wasn't teamed up with the guy known as "LeShrivel" - the biggest choker in the history of the sport.
I'd rather have Russell or Wilt over Lebron for a single game.

This is your weak comeback?
Once Shaq left, a peak Wade couldn't even get out of the first round.
Not to mention he wasn't even a superstar by 2012.
"Just imagine all the titles he would have won without LeBron" :lol
Epic fail.

All Lebron had to do is only choke a little bit and Wade would have had a three-peat. But no, Lebron had the most epic choke job of all time. :lol
"Not four, not five, not six....."

Re: Wilt Chamberlain wilted under pressure in the playoffs and finals
Went from "If he wasn't teamed up with LeBron" to "All LeBron had to do was play better with him"
Damn, I got you backpedaling like a MFer.
It's insane how easy it is to make you look like a dummy.

Both are true. This shouldn't be hard for anyone with even a below average IQ to understand.
If Wade had someone other than Lebron, he would have three peated.
If Lebron wasn't such an egregious choker, Wade would have three peated.
You're just trying to go through mental gymnastics to convince yourself that your hero was way better than he actually was. Did you know that Lebron is the biggest underachiever in the history of the sport? Nobody's achieved less with more.
Truth hurts.

Game 7
Bill Russell 6 points 21 reb 6 ast 2/7 shooting
Wilt 18 points 27 reb 3 ast 7/8 shooting
Elgin Baylor had 5 points on 2/14 shooting in a 88 - 89 loss, Lakers would've been up 3 - 1 and able to close it out. Elgin also shot 4/18 in a 6-point loss in Game 3 when the Lakers could've gone up 3 - 0..

Celtics had a big lead in that game up until Wilt went out with an injury in the 4th. That's when the Lakers stormed a comeback. Without Wilt. :lol

No matter how much you try to dodge, ignore, or sugarcoat it, the indisputable fact remains that Lebron, AKA LeShrivel, has the most choke jobs in the history of the sport.
More than Wilt.
More than Bird.
More than Harden.
More than Tom Brady.
Suck on that for a while. :lol
