I got an XBOX360 and i have already pre-ordered GTAIV.
This game is gonna take over my life.
I hope you can customize your character(some lame russian in some brown pants and a black jacket is just dumb)
I have seen leeked gameplay and the graphics are insane.

Man, I been messing around with it and the game is crazy. If you go too fast and crash, you fly out the window. I thought that was hilarious. So far I just been driving around, beating people up and take their money. I started beating up this bum and started feeling bad because he wouldn't fight back.
This is the first GT that so far I'm not interested in getting cause with each new release I had diminishing returns. Each one entertained me less and less. I'm sure though when I see it in action I'll be blown away.....possibly even change my mind. :confusedshrug:

I'm kinda in the same place.
Plus its just not the same when you dont have your college roomates challenging you to see who can get the most stars the fastest.

The multiplayer mode alone makes this the most anticipated GTA ever. Not only could you chanllenge your college roomates who can get the most stars, but you can hop online and get 5 stars while playing with 16 other people.

IMO the gta franchise ( since gta 3) has consistently produced the best games out of any other franchise by far i have been looking forward to this game since i beat san andreas (about 2.5 years)
i preordered my copy back on march 15th so i am all set u probably on ISHon tuesday

I played San Andreas first... Never got to finish it because it caused my old ass second hand XBOX to crash after I got through 25% of the game.
Then I got to play GTA3 and Vice City... I really liked those but I really like SA...it just sucks that I can't finish it because I'm all behind the times with my XBOX and it crashes and...so on.
Getting the limited edition on the 29... cant wait
GTA 4 just received a perfect 10 on IGN, first game to receive a perfect score since 1999 on that site on any console. That is just incredible, this game will be revolutionary in every sense of the word. After reading IGN's review, I had goosebumps...the detail that they present is just not possible.
I mean when there is a car accident, the guy who crashed into the car actually comes out of the car and makes sure the other person isn't hurt. That's absurd.

Some minor complains from the reviews were; the fist fighting apparently is much tougher in this game then in previous versions, and also the driving is more realistic. (somehow that's a bad thing)

Well reading articles and watching vids. this is the game to buy....... one guy on IGN went as far as saying "this is the greatest game ever created!!!"

I pre-ordered it, it will arrive May 1st. I payed 14 extra bucks for shipping so that the game arrives 4 days quicker. I choose Air rather then Ground as the means of shipment. Can't wait guys, can't wait.
Picking it up in 10 minutes or so.

It's pretty cool. The driving took me a bit to get used to. It's alot harder in the cramped Liberty City. Kinda boring at the moment, but i'm just doing odd jobs and exploring at the moment. I'm waiting for the story to kick in.
Ah, this is pretty funny. I took a girl out to a bar for a date. Then the guy comes stumbling outta there, and when I tried to hail a taxi he yells "YYYEEELLLLOOWWW CARRRRR" and falls over.
I'm watching my son play right now, it's pretty awesome. I'll be glad when he goes to bed so I can play. :D I'll probably just wait and play while he's at work tomorrow.

For those of you that have it, convince me to get it. I said I wasn't gonna get it, but those perfect 10s are hard to deny. Does it seem like a typical Grand Theft Auto game but on steroids.....or is it light years ahead?
I got my GTA4 today. Xbox Live as well. Just gotta hook and set everything up. I think i need an ethernet cord to hook to the xbox360 and the cable router so i can get access to the online thing. I dunno if i got one here, i might I hope.

The map is huge, similar to San Andreas which means I hope the gameplay is long and it takes a long ass time to get from 1 side to the other.

The multi player option is a big reason why this game kicks ass. Previous GTA games you didnt have the online gaming option. Now? You do. Get to create your own character and whup ass. I havent even played it yet...the article showing the screens, writeup had me sold. And that was just the online gaming feature. Not the actual game.

Yo in the game came a xbox live gold trial for 1 month. WTF does that mean and what is its value? I just got the 12 months + 1 bonus month xbox live membership. Is this a bonus month?
If you use the +1 card, it adds another month to the end of your current 13 months. I tried the online multiplayer today with a couple dudes and it was fun as hell. You need to get in on this gobb stopper
