Do you have any proof that snakes messing up a plane cannot happen? It's the same question you asked just phrased differently. Both are not likely to happen, yet you seem to think that watching a movie for the "realness" effect only applies to movies you dislike. What about Gladiator? None of the history actually went down that way, yet it won best movie. What about Collateral? Is their proof that hit men go recruiting taxi drivers to do their bidding? How real is that? I find it also strikingly odd and humurous that you say "Get real" and then defend the authenticity of aliens with high brain capacity.
Snakes messing up a plane? You sound like a babbling idiot. Every movie doesnt have to be "real" but a realism, reality factor plays a part in movies like this. This is Deep Blue Sea only with Snakes in a sky. Ridiculous, retarded and moronic. Its odd and humorous your dumbass is defending this garbage movie. Maybe its because you're prematurely offended for going to give a theatre $9 to see it? Oh wait its not just the see it factor, its to bond with a bunch of strangers as each one has thier witty punchline to throw during the course of the movie. Its almost a battle to see who can make the most movie goers laugh. Phuck outta here.
Snakes on a plane and Sam L Jackson cursing his ass off shooting a gun saying "Enough is enough" is very interesting. Are you kidding me? This is a bad movie and you're defending it. Comedy.

How many times will SLJ say mutha ****er in this movie?
Over/under 10?

What's the big deal about being amused by bad movies? No different than you laughing and clowning a dumb poster like CrazyNbafan's comments. Don't see why you're getting on your high horse here when you laugh at stupid sh.t all the time.

 For someone that's seen it: does someone actually say "all your snakes are belong to us" in the movie?

I want to see the movie, but not for 9$. Not theatre worthy... can't stand the people there...

gobb's going bizerk here. greatness.

I dont care how redicules or purposterous a movie gets, if people find entertainment (the purpose of a movie) out of it who are we to say other wise.
And just for the record, I will NEVER ever watch this movie. I dont even want to be the same theatre as this movies playing. ***** snakes!
-
If you guys want to see a quality movie, go see Miss Little Sunshine. The title sounds pretty gay but its a very genuine and smart little comedy. Its on the independent film side, so you might have to search around a bit for theaters.
-
Is 9 dollars that much to you? I wipe my butt with 10 dollar bills,I spend over 100 dollars a day, so why the hell would I care about 9 dollars idiot. I saw it and i liked it, get over it buddy, its not the end of the world, or maybe it is for you.
You wipe your ass with $10 bills and still leave behind evidence in your tighty whiteys huh mr brown? Wasting money again.
Deep Blue Sea. What another horrible movie.
The SLJ getting his ass owned by that shark scene made that movie worth watching.
-
Typical, GOBB ignores he who makes a good point. You pay how much for an internet connection to make fun of idiots of ISH? Alot more than 9 dollars tell you that much. What's the harm in goofing around watching a stupid movie?
-
Gobb you're such a republican. You're against any kind of fun. A better horror movie for you would be "Kids on a Lawn playing Grabass"
-
I rather watch Bring it on 3.
-
I'm going to see Little Miss Sunshine hopefully this weekend also. I hear it's very good.
-
3 days ago, I'd have been right there with you guys saying this is the dumbest sh*t ever. But if I hadn't gotten those free tickets, I'd have missed out on a lot. I didn't know what the ****k I was talking about, and neither do any of you who haven't watched the movie.
I think it could be a nice movie to go watch anytime in the future, but the experience was great due to the die hard fans screaming sh*t out and bringing props. I even got into it too. Go see it this weekend, before you talk about it being terrible. I think it would have been okay if it were just us in their by ourselves though, so it wasn't a bad movie
If you'd rather go see that bullsh*t basketball movie rather than this, then you have no room to talk. The only way I'd go see that is if they rename it "****** Hustlin on a Court".
Movies that come right out and tell you whats gonna happen are always good, well for the most part. IE Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Pee Wee's Big Adventure. Im sure you can think of others :D
-
Anyone else caught Samuel L. Jackson on the Daily Show. It was seriously the funniest interview I have ever watched on the Show. Makes me almost wanna see the money.
-
I went and saw it last night. It was ridiculous. The crowd was going nuts. My friend brought a bunch of rubbersnakes and threw them all over the place and screamed, "SNAKES IN A MOVIE THEATRE!" and would start chanting "USA!" whenever anything amazingly corny happened in the movie.
The movie is like an F, but the experience is an A+!
im gonna watch it tonight and im gonna borrow that snakes in a movie theater thing.
geewiz ur not old enough to watch snakes on a plane. tsk tsk.
-
amuel l jackson better be getting paid a ****load of money for this movie.
-
amuel l jackson better be getting paid a ****load of money for this movie.
He didn't read the script before he agreed to do it. He just liked the director and the title. The original director quit, and the title was almost changed. If this was called Pacific Air 131 or whatever it was going to be called, no one would watch it. No one would like it.
-
I'm looking forward to its parody film, 'Muslims on a Plane' which should be a lot more frightening.
-

HAHAHA

John Stewart gives a GREAT interview. Can make the most boring guy seem interesting. Too bad Colbert has to do all his interviews in character and they always end up being unpleasant cause I bet he could give a decent interview too.
-
To add to my theory:
How Stella Got her Groove Back.
U, Me and Dupree
All of the Star Wars movies
And if they'd have named Jurassic Park, "Steven Spielbergs: Real Looking Dinosaurs eating people" It would've made 10 Million more dollars. Book it.
-
JoeWait that is hilarious! Muslims on a plane, god damn send me to hell but that's freaking funny.
I am starting to dislike Colbert interviews because he ruined one I was interested in. He was talking to some comic book guy about the new Marvel series "civil war" and would rarely even let the guy finish a sentence. He would mock the guy and basically let no information about the series out from the dude's mouth.
And why do they say the Colbert Reporr? What did I miss?
-

Colbert's interviews suck. But know that he's acting. If you've watched Hannity or O'Reilly, they never let anybody finish their sentences, and all they do is mock everything they say and act like a total ass hole. And that's what Colbert does. So don't go into a Colbert Report interview expecting interesting information.
He leaves the actual information interviews to Stewart and his interviews are just to show how a right-wing, conceited talk show host would react to a certain person.
And he says "Reporr" to play off the t being silent in his name also.
-
Does Samuel L. Jackson scream profanities at a lot of people in this? If so, I'll go catch a screening. It's the little things that make me go see movies.
-
He actually doesn't scream a lot of profanities. Well not enough
-
GOBB, get a clue. If you don't see how THIS movie is different than a movie that's bad but is trying to be good, then you might just be the least intelligent poster on this message board, and we both know how bad that is.
-

Colbert said he got the idea of how his character should be from a quote by Joe Scarborough. Basically, Joes said that he "isn't doing his job if he lets his guests speak for 7 seconds uninterupted."
-
You aren't spending 10 dollars to be entertained... you are paying 10 dollars to sit in a dark theater with a smug grin plastered across your face: "God, I am being so ironic right now... wait until I tell my friends (or it some cases, 'my board') how ironic I am."
Well worth it for some.

Not in a good enough mood to get a kick out of it, so not this weekend at least. Kind of worn out on the hype for it too.

You can watch the interview of Sam L Jackson and John Stewart on youtube. I saw it there and couldnt stop laughing. Too bad it wasnt long.

STar Wars movies werent bad at all. I didnt like the first two attack of the clones I & II (look i dont know thier names) but return of the jedi, empire strikes back and even the last movie where u saw how darth vader became darth vader (the ending how he was put together) were tight.
I admit i went to see star wars with that red/black character. Forgot his name but he was a villain all hyped up and lasted like 15 seconds in the movie getting sliced in half. That movie was long and stunk ass.
Jurrassic park was a book. So regardless of name title many people went to see it because the book was good. You cant use movies where a book came out and was made into a movie.

Exactly, all movies that say whats going on in the movie are usually good.
If When a Stranger Calls had been renamed "When a Stranger Calls while Watching You" it would've some how found a way to be better
PS: I thought you got your username back GOBB

Come on bro SNAKES...
on a motherphucking plane!!!

Sorry but rottentomatoes is crap, IMDB is far more credible:

80 reviews against 1,528.

I think this movie gets good reviews because people know its a crap movie but make the most out of it. Itys a dumb movie so they laugh and enjoy dumb things that happen. Also the infleunce factor is huge. Seems everyone who speaks of this movie talks about the reactions and comments made during the movie. Thus a good review.
