some teams are obviously not going for a modern style. The question is that 70s-80s style of just running and posting up 4 of your starters with like one or two designated jump shooters and crashing for every board going be effective enough.
^^ Dude, you have no shooting besides Allen. Magic, DJ, Drexler, & Worthy can't hit 3s, you have no spacing. Your team would be great in 1985, in today's game they would get slaughtered by my team. :D
Final roster
PG - Nash | Blaylock

I don't care what anyone says i have the best team of the draft, perfect balance of everything
Some of ya'll are running with too many ball handlers, lack of shooting or players that don't even fit in todays era. My team is perfectly constructed
Magic-Malone will be my main guard-forward combo.
Magic-Malone will be my main guard-forward combo.
yea i would say this teambuilding is a little flawed. Magic isnt like most pgs, he doesnt operate nearly as much out of the pnr. Lot of his scoring comes from postups which will just clash with malone. Like a fastbreak with magic/malone is monstrous but I specifically would slow the game as much as possible
I believe me and iamgine have the best teams so far. Just my opinion though.
Your team is top shelf defensively, but not sure it's there on offense. Particularly in the front court.
Are Ewing, KG and lebron going to be able to score efficiently against elite defense. I'm not sure. Then you have parish, Jones and bowen as backups.
Most front courts in this league have more fire power. And for the most part also have very good defense at each position.
it's obvious fit won out over talent overall. No one touched westbrook :lol

I'm not too worried with scoring. LeBron is LeBron, he is scoring on anyone regardless. Ewing averaged 29 points a game in '90, he averaged 32 points vs the Bird-McHale-Parish Celtics in the playoffs, then averaged 27 points vs a legendary Bad Boys Pistons defense in the next series. Then I have a MJ-Kobe level scorer in the backcourt with McGrady who puts up 30+ points a game.
That is basically 3 guys who can put 30+ points on consistent basis, Parish was a 20 ppg player, Irving and Ginobili also give me 20+.
I don't think offensive firepower is really an issue in these All-time drafts, it's just how they all fit together. I think I have the best combo of talent, scoring, defense, & shooting.
arenas will play the same way like steph
klay guard the best guard and be the shooter,he don't want to driblle much
doctor good defender,he will score most of the time in fastbreaks and lobs, fist sub
bird clutch, gives everything for the team, and help the offence
duncan play elite defence, and help the offence,he doesn't have to try much
klay duncan and bird don't care for stats but for the win so we will not have problem
pisto pete will create for the team ,spark for 2 unit, and shoot
iggy will play to control the tempo,i can use him as pg with klay sg to have elite defence in guards,
barry will play sf and pf ,scorer and can open the space
gasol can do everything for the team, score from midrange, pass, defende and don't care for stats
yao will help against big men, defence in the paint, and on offence will score against small matchups
almost all players can score from outside and the lane will be open

Try again, Ginobili, Irving, & Bowen are all 40% 3 point shooters. McGrady shot 39%.

McGrady is a iso scorer who needs the ball in his hands not a spot up shooter
