This is without doubt the lowest profile Finals I can remember. It's like the NBA season has finished. Eerie.

No shit huh?:oldlol:
For those who care so much about it...
The first game of the finals averaged a 4.7 rating and 8.91 million viewers on ABC. It was one of the lowest-rated and least-watched NBA Finals openers since Nielsen tracking began in 1988. The viewership was more than the 2020 and 2021 finals, but those were impacted by COVID-19.
The SuperBowl literally happens 2 weeks after the conference championship games. We gotta wait half a month for one game.

So? Gives players time to rest. Gives players injured time to heal. Gives the league time to push and promote the biggest event in American sports. It’s a one and done game. Not a 7gm series. I fail to see td comparison.

What a terrible comparison.
Who we got tonight fellas?!!!!
I’m thinking OKC blowout win.

I think you're right, OKC by 10-15. My prediction was the Pacers would win only one of the first two Thunder home games.
Those super-imposed Finals trophies on the court look horrible.
I think the Thunder head coach has over-thought the issue of matchups taking Hartenstein out of the starting lineup for both these games. They got to the Finals with him starting getting over 24 minutes per game up until the Finals. Then you bench him, let him play only 17 minutes in Game 1 and you get out-rebounded by 17. Seems to me he should still be starting and getting more minutes.
I'm not an anti-Doris guy usually, but so far tonight she is annoying af
okc's talent superiority is just unreal. their defense and offense are both 99....and then their depth, also 99. ridiculous.
Pacers are gonna win this series.
Where is OKC's urgency.
Let the Pacers hang around if you want to and see what happens.

Same, but I've muted the Finals broadcasts this game and the last game because of her. Can't stand it.
