infact jordan has never scored more than 61 after 4 quarters in a game
a) kobe scored 62 after 3 quarters before
and
b) if that 81 point game had 2 overtimes kobe would have scored 100+

The team that Kobe dropped 62 on was the team that made the finals, moron.
I always preferred the "Kobe dropping 55 points on Michael Jordan" ( 42 in the first half , Kobe basically sat out the 4th quarter) ...
as a better display of Kobe's offensive ability.....so dangerous.

Hardly. Taking competition and stakes into account, Lebron's game 5 at the palace is comfortably more impressive, as is his 45-15 game 6 elimination performance on 70% IN BOSTON while holding Pierce to 4-18 shooting.

Kobe dropped 62 on the Mavs during the 06 season, the Mavs made the 06 finals.
It was the same season, the game took place in December of 05, that's like saying all of these games happening now aren't a part of the 2015 season.

Why are you bringing up Nelson's Mavs? They have nothing to do with the 62 points Kobe dropped in 3 quarters ... against the Avery Johnson coached Mavs.

Nope..some came on B Russ....I watched the game live and still have the [B]whole game on [/B]VHS
Jordan was shook after Kobe dropped 20 points in like 4 minutes...MJ had to pick up Kobe a few times on D then quickly called for the switch...
by the 2nd quarter MJ took himself outta the game and was visibly upset on the bench...( pretty sure he was so mad he had tears)...
The simple fact Kobe made MJ quit....is the reason most fans say he dropped 55 on MJ.
I clearly remember as I was played Div 1 BBall and was trying out for the Lakers that year.
