Re: All-Time NBA 10-Man Lineup Fantasy Draft
Here's my lineup analyses: Starting lineup means a lineup that works on most teams or plays the majority of minutes, since it presents the most problems on offense and is at least competent defensively. But should the circumstances demand it, I will switch to a small ball lineup, or a hurry-up offense in order to keep up with high powered offensive teams
C is elite D but not much fire power, though Zo was legit but George Mikan?
I kid
Don't need a post up game when you got MJ dominating the paint or Stockton running pick and rolls with Webber and Sheed. Webber on his own always gave the business to Garnett and Duncan. Bulls never had a dominant post scorer to run their succesful offense. Plus Iverson and Nique off the bench provide enough firepower to sustain.
And when you have Stockon you just need to catch the ball.
Re: All-Time NBA 10-Man Lineup Fantasy Draft
Lol at Kyle Korver going ahead of much better overall players that still hadn't/haven't been picked like Glen Rice, Mitch Richmond, Chris Mullin, Bernard King, Ron Harper, Tim Hardaway, Joe Dumars...:oldlol:
If y'all going by years as some of you have put the version of said player...no 2010 Derrick Rose? Dude was an absolute beast pre injury.
Can any of those players shoot like Korver?
Re: All-Time NBA 10-Man Lineup Fantasy Draft
I don't know why the critique about being soft in the middle when the defensive system is the best in this while draft.
Jordan, Stockton, and Pippen on the perimeter locking down, and if someone does break through you have the best face up shot blocker of all time. And if you want to add to that defensive depth Zo played PF with Deke at Georgetown.
My team is definitely the toughest to score against hands down.

Your team is the easiest to defend against, you literally have no shooting outside of Rice :lol

You have guys who are in the conversation as the greatest defenders all time at their position at PG, SG and C, with solid D elsewhere also. I agree you've got arguably the best defense here.
But you might have the weakest team offensively.
Re: All-Time NBA 10-Man Lineup Fantasy Draft
So what do we do now?
Have a vote or poll to see who wins?
Re: All-Time NBA 10-Man Lineup Fantasy Draft
I'd say Southbeach has the best overall team imo
Re: All-Time NBA 10-Man Lineup Fantasy Draft
Are there some metrics that we can rank teams by to try and assess. Maybe a 5 star system.
Metrics could be things like interior D, perimeter D, shooting, inside scoring, rebounding, defenisve depth, scoring depth, intangibles, star power (or X factor)
Probably wouldnt need any more. This is probably already too many.
Thoughts?
Re: All-Time NBA 10-Man Lineup Fantasy Draft
I think we should just make a poll. I think people have lost interest now that the draft is over, I would hate if each of us voted matchup by matchup, you know some people will just flake.
Re: All-Time NBA 10-Man Lineup Fantasy Draft
Please could SouBeachTalents and iamgine post their lineups.
I will then post our lineups in one post, everyone will then rank the teams 1st - 9th, and vote the winner for categories (Best Inside scoring, Best Outside scoring, Best Inside defense, Best Perimeter defense, Best Rebounding).
