They’d be stupid not too. They’re probably doing it so early so that they don’t have to overpay a couple years from now.
Kind of like what the Braves did with Acuna his rookie year. He’s one of the best players in baseball who won’t make more than 17 million a year until 2027
Robbie Ray to Mariners
Max Scherzer to Mets
Corey Seager to Rangers, right after they got Marcus Semien. Rangers are going all-in in 2022.

I truly don't understand spending that much money if I'm them. Seager and Semien aren't going to move the needle in any way because they still have absolutely no pitching whatsoever. Maybe they're a bit more exciting offensively but Seager is hurt a lot anyway.
No way they win more than 76-78 as it stands right now.
Just glad the Braves don't have to see Seager anymore.
Josh Donaldson is now a Yankee, traded from Twins for Gary Sanchez.
I'm getting a subscription to MLB.TV to stream every White Sox game, I know where to watch for free but I'm currently working afternoons so I wouldn't be able to catch the games live...gotta watch my White Sox on the road to the World Series
Freddie Freeman to Dodgers.
Matt Chapman to Blue Jays via a trade.
Kris Bryant to Rockies.
Kyle Schwarber to Phillies.
Top NPB prospect Seiya Suzuki to Cubs.
Zack Greinke back to Royals, where his career began.

Why not? I can always dream, hater
Honestly the Braves getting Matt Olson on the deal that they didn't is the absolute best case scenario if they weren't going to sign Freddie. Pretty pumped about this to be honest.

Did not like the Braves giving up Ryan Cusick for him in that deal. Was fine with everyone else, but Cusick had the potential to be a #1 starter in my honest opinion. Needless to say, the Braves have still not addressed their pitching.
They're playing right now and Bryce Elder is at least looking good.
Braves snag Jensen :oldlol:
deGoat and Sherzer 1-2 combo. Tell me that doesn't scare you in a series.

:lol guess I'll keep my mouth shut from now on. Cockiness in a Mets fan is not fitting. Can no longer tout degrom as the best pitcher in baseball, dude rarely ever pitches. Hurt again. There are even questions about Sherzer being healthy.
