Exactly. You can read in rawimpact's pro-tariff posts, it is coming from an "us vs them" perspective. But for the healthiest economies, it should be coming from the perspective of "we are all on the same team here". It should be from the perspective of what works best for everyone involved, working together, helping each other out, doing each other favors.

Absolutely. We have been abused as a country. We have been giving out money to numerous third world countries while we at home have homeless problems, an obvious mental health issue etc.

This is not the correct angle to negotiate good deals. A salesman would never try to sell someone with "let's make a deal you peasant".
