Re: Official Pro Wrestling Discussion Thread
Yo BurningHammer, which WWE Superstars past and present do you find charismatic besides the typical names like Hogan, Savage, Austin or Rock? (Tag teams included)
John Cena
Roman Reign
Kurt Angle (He was a complete package. Too bad his body broke down fast and drugs ruined him.)
The Miz
Enzo (Yes. His charisma alone brought 205 Live to be watchable for awhile. Too bad he is small and problematic.)
Sami Zayn
The New Day

I would add Chris Jericho to that list. Great charisma and could work with anyone.

Who else? How about the women? Or tag teams?
Who else? How about the women? Or tag teams?
AJ Lee
Sasha Banks
Becky Lynch
Hardy Boys
Also, to dig deeper in single male wrestlers:
Dusty Rhodes (He didn't really have a great run as an active wrestler in WWE compare to other promotions with the polka dots thing. But even that he made it somewhat worked.)
Goldberg
Mick Foley
Junk Yard Dog
Superstar Billy Graham (The prototype Hulk Hogan)
Bruno Sammartino (11 years title reign proves it.)
Andre The Giant
Roddy Piper
Rey Mysterio
Re: Official Pro Wrestling Discussion Thread
Can't believe BurningHammer put himself out there like this:

Charisma draws and they drew massively during their peaks and continued to do so after. There are tons of legit badass pro wrestlers around but there are few that actually draws money.
There is a good reason WWE kept bringing 50-something Goldberg back over and over.

Agreed on the bold ones. A bunch of those are not that charismatic without their best-known gimmicks.

how are you separating their charisma from their characters/gimmicks
so only how they are in real life? I don't get it
and have you never seen Jesse Ventura before. wtf lol
David Schultz is another who's exactly like he was on tv
curt henning was every bit the heel shit talker in real life
brian pillman was legit crazy
charisma is personality. all of these people were larger than life personalities
you had goldberg and Roman reigns lol
Re: Official Pro Wrestling Discussion Thread
RIP Don West, the voice of TNA :(
Re: Official Pro Wrestling Discussion Thread
Vince McMahon forcing his way back onto the board of directors of the WWE. He'll probably be head of creative after Royal Rumble. :oldlol:

Re: Official Pro Wrestling Discussion Thread
ESPN: "Stephanie McMahon announced her resignation as co-CEO of WWE on Tuesday evening, less than one week after her father, Vince McMahon, came out of retirement and returned as chairman of the board."
Re: Official Pro Wrestling Discussion Thread
The Saudis, the same group who owns LIV, is rumored to be the leading potential buyer of WWE. Steph resignation may be the response to that.

Further rumor: the deal is done. The Saudis will also turn the company private.
