Nets are in the Mitchell mix if they want with those picks. Mitchell, Brown, Simmons and Kyrie(or Westbrook) could be pretty good. Ainge would prefer unprotected from NY I'm sure though. Could also go after some of the other Jazz vets to fill out the roster
Re: 2022 off season Post Gobert. A new era begins
The Knicks’ asset pool — up to eight first-round draft picks and young players such as Quentin Grimes, Immanuel Quickley and Obi Toppin — gives them a clear opportunity to acquire Mitchell, but sources say talks so far have moved slowly and the sides are far from an agreement. With three years guaranteed remaining on Mitchell’s contract, the Jazz are not operating with a sense of urgency and have the time to evaluate the best offers for the 25-year-old. Mitchell has spent the summer in his usual offseason routine: high-intensity workouts and time with his family and friends. Sources said the three-time NBA All-Star has not requested a trade or attempted to force his way out of Utah, but should the franchise move toward a full rebuild a competitor like Mitchell would prefer to be in an environment geared toward winning now, not later.

Like Brooklyn, the Jazz have held firm on setting a high bar on any potential Mitchell deal, and they expect to be patient throughout the process. For now, the Jazz will continue to evaluate incoming calls and seek ways to balance their roster.
Last week, ESPN ranked 15 of the biggest NBA trades over the past 20 years (their story was framed around the trade talk surrounding a current Brooklyn Net, superstar Kevin Durant). The Williams-Jazz trade — which brought Derrick Favors, Devin Harris, a draft pick that became Enes Kanter and a draft pick that became Gorgui Dieng to Utah — came in at No. 4.

2nd offer from the only team that knew he was available. A lot different than Danny trying to rape Dolan over a lesser player
[h=3]7. Will Jarred Vanderbilt be in Utah for 2022/23?[/h]
at 23 you'd think but Danny will trade anyone if the price is right
All in all, Utah’s trade of Rudy Gobert was all about the picks they got in return, and while the players may be valuable, there’s no star among them, so whether Vanderbilt is moved for a late first/second round pick or if he plays for this squad, he’s not going to be too big of a deal. At this time, it’s more likely than not however that Jarred is flipped for some sort of a pick that Danny Ainge can try to hit on in the future, as this team just isn’t equipped to keep players like Vanderbilt with a low ceiling going forward through this rebuild.
don't actually know. Keesler has Gobert type potential. Bolambo could be special if he fixes his shot
[h=3]6. Will Walker Kessler be in Utah for 2022/23?[/h]
he's most likely but with his potential being an NBA backup Danny will let you have him for an unprotected 1st!
[h=3]5. Will Patrick Beverley be in Utah for 2022/23?[/h]
while Butler sits? Doubt it
[h=3]3. Will Malik Beasley be in Utah for 2022/23?[/h]
I'd consider keeping him
[h=3]2. Will Mike Conley be in Utah for 2022/23?[/h]
see Beverley. Even if Mitchell isn't traded you'd think Beverley or Conley is gone

do all of these teams want Mitchell or just in on the deal? Not sure what their assets look like but a deal with NY, the Kings and the Hornets should allow Danny to have maximum fun at least!
The ideal NBA forward should be able to step out and hit some shots. He cannot do that. If he spends the summer working on fixing his weaknesses, he could be a viable starter at some point in his career. That being said, he is entering year five, so he is running out of time to prove that he can become the guy he was supposed to be.
41st pick of the draft. He's already better than the guy he was supposed to be :facepalm
This is a do-or-die year for Vanderbilt. He is under contract for two more seasons, but if he doesn’t break out this year then the Jazz should be inclined to let him ride the bench in his last season and play rookies ahead of him in the rotation, which would shatter his confidence and ruin his chances of having an NBA career. 2023 is the season he has to put the pieces together or find a new league to play in.
he's 23 and was starting on a pretty good team last year. Great rebounder that defends with energy. He's not going anywhere! :lol
Thanks to the time spent in the G-League and a foot injury, potential star Udoka Azubuike has not really had a chance to shine yet. In college, he showed he could be a double-double machine with elite defense on one of the best teams in the country, so even though he has played two poor seasons, fans shouldn’t despair yet.
Actually he has. Was starting and doing a solid job just a few months ago
If he can put it all together, fans should be elated. He has shown he can perform on the big stage, and if it translates to the NBA then the Jazz are certainly looking at a better-than-average starting center. That may not sound exciting, but the average starting center in the league is who? Jakob Poeltl? Jusuf Nurkic? Azubuike can be better than them, he just hasn’t been given a chance.
defensively could be better. Doubt he'll ever be as good as Nurkic offensively
[h=1]NBA Trade Rumors: Knicks, Jazz remain far apart on Donovan Mitchell deal[/h]
2 or 3 picks isn't far is it?
The Jazz reportedly has a high asking price for Mitchell and, at least until now, the Knicks have not met that price. Or perhaps Utah is waiting it out to see what else they could get in the package.
I think they're just going over what teams want to offer and what they want and figuring out the best way to go. Two. three, four team trade?
Either way, it seems like Utah isn’t terribly rushing to finalize a Mitchell trade. They have no reason to be. Mitchell still has three years remaining on his current deal and training camp doesn’t even open for another month.

Got a couple months
