Jazz with any 5 of Joe Ingles, Mike Conley, Donovan Mitchell, Royce O’Neale, Bojan Bogdanovic, Rudy Gobert: +11.5, 928 possessions
So try to keep 2 or 3 of them on the floor at all times. Front office needs to get them help besides more rookies. Try something else besides just Mitchell with the 2nd unit. Looks like you need to try staggering Rudy so he can play with Ingles on the 2nd unit minimum or take out O'Neale early to play Ingles with Rudy in the starting lineup but not sure that helps Conley?
Are the bench players permanently bad? I think you can argue for realistic optimism for better play from one guy: Ed Davis. Davis has proven to be a good player for the last couple of years, and has yet to find that level of impact in a Jazz uniform. There are reasons to believe it will improve.
you have to hope since he's being paid the most and is on the books next year as well
Everyone else, being hopeful is not too far away from dreaming. Dante Exum has been a good rotation player for about 20 games in his NBA career... he may improve as time passes after his injury, but it’s certainly not a sure thing. Emmanuel Mudiay is young, but he’s been bad his whole NBA career. Jeff Green is who he is at this point: he’s going to give you about 10-20 good games per season. Georges Niang can make a shot and probably is going to be a negative at the other stuff.
Mudiay and Green have both shown they can score the ball. Exum can defend. Niang can do a lot more than shoot if given the chance. Snyder needs to try these guys in some different combinations
What I find mildly remarkable is that the other players who aren’t playing are somehow even worse in practice. They must be, given that they’re not playing. We know what Tony Bradley is. Nigel Williams-Goss must somehow be so bad that the underperformance of Mudiay and Exum hasn’t even made Snyder think about playing him. Juwan Morgan earned a 3 trillion tonight. He’s apparently more valuable than Miye Oni, who was made inactive tonight. Stanton Kidd apparently wasn’t the answer, but did anyone think he was?
a bunch of rookies aren't the answer? Wow who would have thought that when Mitchell is the only rookie that has ever been good to start a year under Snyder. I think a few of them could help at some point this year though
Gobert was efficient: he scored 19 points on 9-10 shooting and added 17 rebounds. Great! But he didn’t make his usual impact defensively. He did scare the Thunder from getting all the way to the rim tonight, and they only took 18 shots down there. But they made 14 of them. On those shots from 4-14 feet away, the Thunder were 9-19, again, a higher percentage than Gobert usually allows. He blocked zero shots, and it’s his third consecutive game with zero blocks. He’s not the problem, but he hasn’t been DPOY elite recently.
maybe he needs some help?
Utah got off to a good enough start, as it led 24-19 with 2:09 remaining in the first quarter. But as has happened numerous times this season, the Jazz offense stalled as the second unit came in (such has been especially challenging over the past three games as Snyder has had to tweak rotations due to the absence of Mike Conley because of knee soreness).
thought it was a tight hamstring
With Mitchell playing alongside Emmanuel Mudiay, Georges Niang, Jeff Green and Ed Davis, the Jazz surrendered that lead and trailed 25-24 at the end of the first quarter.
maybe it's time to try something different? :rant
The Jazz have the worst bench in the NBA. There will be a little more on this tomorrow. The starters deserve better than this. The starting 5 can play great minutes (not tonight) and they will be completely vanished by a few bench minutes. It’s getting overly predictable at this point. Like the Stockton and Malone pick and roll, you know what’s going to happen and there’s nothing you can do about.
I think you could try do something about it instead of just sending Mitchell out with the 4 bench guys over and over again
Obviously health has played a role in that. But come one, you can’t tell me Exum is actually worse this year than he was as a rookie. He came in really late into the game and made a nice little impact. He played some good D, drove hard to the rim for a nice layup. Brought some nice energy. But one bad pass and bam he’s back on the bench after just a couple minutes of playing. How’s a kid supposed to play with any confidence or game sense if that’s always in the back of his head?
as a rookie Trey Burke was their only other option. Not about him being worse just about him never being very good and the other options improving. 9 million reasons to play with confidence
A possible reason for the Jazz flying under the radar is the minimal chatter about their rising star, Donovan Mitchell. The young jet is continuing to develop his game but with the sharp rise of young superstars such as Luka Doncic and Trae Young, Mitchell has almost become the forgotten star in the West and despite being the No.1 player on the Jazz roster.
he's far from the #1 guy on the roster :rant

Malik Beasley Receives Trade Interest From Multiple Teams
DEC 9, 2019 11:37 PM
Multiple teams have expressed interest in trading for Malik Beasley, league sources told Shams Charania of The Athletic.
Charania adds that trade conversations have yet to gain traction.
Beasley, who did not sign a contract extension with the Nuggets in October, will be a restricted free agent next summer.
But that axe cut off many of their limbs in the process. Ricky Rubio, Thabo Sefolosha, Ekpe Udoh, Grayson Allen, and Jae Crowder all were betrayed by the axe. The Jazz
