Okay well since you asked for it, why didn't the democrats demand the files be unsealed when Biden was president? They controlled the presidency, the senate and the house. They could have done so unopposed.

Why did they wait until now?

Yes genius, we're aware. The republicans (and Trump) are sweeping it under the rug just as Biden and democrats did for years.

But you're seeing in real time the negative pushback that Trump is getting, even from his own base. It's the total opposite of what occurred under Biden, where his followers and supporters played dumb for 4 years and ran defense.
