And if they make the 2020 playoffs, that will be 2 years ago. And roughly 8k more minutes on LeBron's wear and tear.
That's like saying remember when that car drove good when it only had 50k miles? Gee, I wonder why it might not drive as well with 150k..... sh(t wears out.
And in NBA terms 2 years after your 30s is a lot of mileage, moreso if you are the main star for your team.
Lebron's had so much time to rest since then. Yeah mileage matters, but you give him time to rest and to work on his body and there's no reason he shouldn't be able to have another great stretch of basketball in the Playoffs. Lebron can wear down a little physically but he's still the same gifted playmaker he's always been and now he has a top 5 player in the league who can carry a lot of the load during the Regular Season.
There's a huge difference here. In 2018, he did a lot of the scoring in first halves by attacking the basket against smaller defenders and wore down by the end of games, now he can get the ball to Davis and Kuzma. Lebron doesn't have to be the 1st or even 2nd scoring option on offense in a lot of games, he can do most of the damage by facilitating and not allowing himself to take a beating in the paint.
and it begins....:oldlol:
Paul George isn't playing and Lebron has owned Kawhi his entire career. :pimp:
