Brad Daugherty would be first team all NBA this year, wasn't even an after thought in his era as a 22/10/4 Center :oldlol:
Those Cavs teams>>>The Hawks this year.
I dare you to run down the roster and try to make the case. :oldlol:
This should be good. :oldlol:
Re: so let me get this straight. ..
Remember when MJ and the Bulls beat those tough, stacked 57 win Cavs.
The might Brad Daugherty and Mark Price leading them. Full of superstars.
That team seems like a joke now because of how badly MJ and the Bulls destroyed them year after year. That team would be the best team in the east today easily.

He made the all NBA team that year, 3rd team.
This year we had a 24/13/4 center on the 2nd team. I'm not getting what you're saying.

Just like the Hawks are today...
Just like Bron is destroying them...
No wait, that only works if it isn't Bron.
Re: so let me get this straight. ..
Could the nostalgic old era stans also give me a rundown of the titans Magic was beating to make the finals 9 times? Thanks.

And why don't people know?
Because it's not important.
This was important...

Exactly. You gotta start handing Magic asterisks for his titles too. Some of the teams they played were just

Those 30 win teams he was beating would be 65 win teams today.
You don't even know how good Kyle Macy was. He'd be destroying this era.
Re: so let me get this straight. ..
If you needed any further proof that this is the weakest the NBA has been since the pre-merger 70s... there you go.
Thread backfire. OP just shitted on himself by admitting that Bron is beating weak east teams with that cast.
This really is getting too easy....

Seriously? :oldlol:
OK. The '92 squad that Made the ECF featured:
Brad Daugherty- Legit 7 footer with career averages of 19/10/4 (53% FG) AKA shits on any player on the Hawks... do they even have a player taller than 6'9? :oldlol: Peak of 22/10/4. Name one player on the Hawks right now capable of that?
Mark Price- Another player much better than any player on the Hawks. He was a player comparable to Steve Nash- could absolutely stroke from anywhere on the court (career 40% shooter from 3) and was a master playmaker. 20/9 peak.
Larry Nance- Hate to harp on this point... but another player better than anyone on the Hawks right now. 6'10, long PF with top tier athleticism. 20/9/3 peak.
Hot Rod Williams- Another 6'10" PF who put up the type of production Horford or Millsap are putting up now... in his rookie season :oldlol:
Craig Ehlo- solid wing defender and all around player who gave you a little bit of everything- 12/5/4 while shooting over 40% from 3. For comparison sake, Kyle Korver made the ASG this year... putting up Craig Ehlo numbers without the defense.
Then they had one of the best 3 point shooters in NBA History in Kerr coming off the bench. Along with strong contributors like future all star Terrell Brandon (Better than any Hawks PG in his prime :lol ), John Battle, and Mike Sanders.
As a squad they were 2nd in offensive rating and averaged 28 assists per game.
How is this even a debate? Name one player on the Hawks right now who had a better peak... hell who was the caliber of player that Daugherty, Price, or Nance were.

lol Kyle Macy.
I remember watching old games and seeing him play. (I'm not a 60s or 70s baby)
I think he greatly embodied the "white guys are shooters" belief. :oldlol:

Era shaming?
self defeating
Re: so let me get this straight. ..
yes thats great but lets not act as if he is really beating a superior team... its just like when gstate beat dallas in the past .. hawks are a good team but they arent even better than portland to be honest.
Re: so let me get this straight. ..
Just like the Hawks are today...

No wait, that only works if it isn't Bron.
Except those Cavs teams were actually competitive and fought wire to wire against all time great Bulls teams only to lose to 3 MJ series winning shots.
The Hawks just lost 2 straight home games against a Cavs team without 2 all star level players. Same Hawks that needed 6 games to beat the 38 win Nets lmao
