Re: We're about 1/3rd of the way into the season... who's your MVP?
Didn't you read the thread about not trolling?
Anyway:
You have given out too much Reputation in the last 24 hours, try again later.
You're lucky, would've negged you for that comment...
Anyway, my choice is LeBron James
25-7-7 on 60% FG (wtf) and 41% 3P with the #2 seed in the East. Not bad, not bad at all.
Durant is definitely second, though. Westbrook is an extremely strong #2 option, though, and that will hurt Durant a bit in the MVP race. Why do I say that? Why do you think LBJ didn't win it in 2011 when Rose won. Wade was a powerful #2 option. Durant might be faced with the same problem come MVP voting time.
Let's not forget that a non Center/PF shooting 60% is unheard of. Especially if they're scoring 25 a game. I'd wager that it has never been done in NBA history; and that is, a non Center/PF shooting 60% and 40% from 3P while scoring at least 25 ppg. Hell, I bet it hasn't even been done while scoring 20 ppg.
John Stockton was the first candidate that came to mind, he had a few 55% FG seasons but he never scored above 20 ppg. In fact, during both of his 54% and 55% FG seasons, he scored 15 and 14 ppg, respectively.
Lmao, someone thinks Durant is MVP and you think they're trolling? :facepalm

He brought an argument that is pretty convincing. :confusedshrug:

No sir, I was referring to him saying he chose KD as the MVP because "He is the more well rounded player."
Re: We're about 1/3rd of the way into the season... who's your MVP?
LeBron. Statistically, he's just too ridiculous.

I said that Durant is much more well rounded. I didn't say he was more well rounded than anyone else. I'm speaking strictly in terms of his own development. He has added a more well rounded approach to his game, which benefits his MVP candidacy. He can no longer be called just a scorer. Maybe i'm in the minority, but with the way Durant has played this season, i do not consider LeBron to be head and shoulders better than him, despite his high field goal percentage.
Re: We're about 1/3rd of the way into the season... who's your MVP?
Durant, although Westbrook was more efficient tonight.

Wade averaging 20/5/5/2 on 54/74 while coasting and people act like he's some scrub. Wade is missing games with injuries, but when he plays, he's still the best SG in the NBA, no doubt.

KD. Wade has been better than Lebron in most of the games he played.
Re: We're about 1/3rd of the way into the season... who's your MVP?
My vote goes to KD. I agree it's close though, and still believe LeBron is the better player. KD has just been slightly more impressive to me over the last 2-3 weeks.

Not sure about that, but statistically it's a fact that LeBron has been more productive and efficient with Wade in the lineup this year than when he's out.

Re: We're about 1/3rd of the way into the season... who's your MVP?
LeBron.
Literally the only reason anyone is picking Durant is because LeBron has won 4 MVPs already and they're tired of him winning it. If LeBron had 0 MVPs at this moment in time, everyone would be on the "this is his year" bandwagon like they are with Durant.
The point is that there is not a single person aside from blind homers who think Durant > LeBron.
Re: We're about 1/3rd of the way into the season... who's your MVP?
We should just make a stickied MVP Discussion Thread
